It was another bright morning in the peaceful little countryside village. Birds chirped from the mango trees, the ducks splashed playfully in the pond, and the soft hum of laughter echoed from a familiar little house near the rice field — the home of CUTIS, his ever-curious baby monkey, and their loving, pregnant Mom.
But that day was no ordinary day.
Because something hilariously unpredictable was about to happen — thanks to the mischievous duo: CUTIS and Yen Nhi.
Yen Nhi was CUTIS’s closest friend, a spirited little girl with big round eyes, a smile that could light up the whole yard, and enough energy to outmatch both CUTIS and the baby monkey combined. When these two teamed up, chaos, laughter, and pure joy always followed. And poor Mom? She could only shake her head and laugh helplessly.
A New Day, A New Plan 🤭

The morning began calmly enough. Mom was sitting on the porch, her belly resting under her soft dress, carefully peeling mangoes for breakfast. CUTIS and Yen Nhi were supposed to help — supposed to.
At first, they were sitting quietly beside her, watching the baby monkey nibble on a slice of banana. But CUTIS, being his playful self, nudged Yen Nhi and whispered, “Let’s do something fun. Don’t tell Mom.”
Yen Nhi’s eyes lit up instantly. “What kind of fun?” she asked eagerly, brushing her long hair from her face.
CUTIS grinned. “We’ll make a game! Whoever makes Mom laugh the hardest wins!”
“Ohhh!” Yen Nhi clapped her hands excitedly. “Okay! But what’s the prize?”
CUTIS thought for a second, tapping his chin like a little genius. “Hmm… loser has to feed the ducks and clean monkey’s toys!”
The baby monkey, hearing his name, squealed happily and clapped — clearly approving of the idea, though he didn’t realize he was part of the “messy” prize.
Mom, unaware of their secret plan, kept peeling mangoes with a smile. But within minutes, the “Super Funny Couple” was already in motion.
The First Attempt: CUTIS the Dancer 💃🐒

CUTIS decided to go first. He took the baby monkey’s toy hat, placed it crookedly on his head, and began doing a wobbly little dance across the porch. He waved his arms, stomped his feet, and even made silly faces.
“Look, Mom! I’m the dancing monkey king!”
The baby monkey squeaked and joined in, spinning in circles like a furry tornado. Yen Nhi burst into laughter, falling back on the porch steps.
Mom tried to stay calm, but the sight of CUTIS in that tiny hat, doing a ridiculous dance next to a dizzy monkey, was too much. She burst out laughing so hard that tears formed in her eyes.
“Oh no, CUTIS!” she gasped between laughs. “You look like a coconut with legs!”
CUTIS stopped mid-dance, pretending to be offended, but couldn’t help giggling too. “That means I win, right?”
But Yen Nhi shook her head. “No, no! Now it’s my turn! You’ll see — I’ll make Mom laugh even harder!”
Mom groaned playfully. “Oh dear… I’m scared already.”
The Second Attempt: Yen Nhi’s “Cooking Show” 🍳😂

Yen Nhi grabbed a small plastic bowl and a wooden spoon, announcing dramatically, “Welcome to Chef Yen Nhi’s Cooking Show! Today, I will make the most delicious soup in the world!”
CUTIS crossed his arms, pretending to be a judge. “Okay, Chef! What are your ingredients?”
Yen Nhi looked around quickly and grabbed whatever she could find — mango peels, flower petals, a few leaves, and even a feather. She tossed them all into the bowl and started stirring with great seriousness.
Mom raised her eyebrows. “Oh dear, that’s quite an interesting recipe.”
The baby monkey curiously peeked into the bowl, sniffed the “soup,” and made a disgusted face before jumping back dramatically. That was enough to make everyone burst out laughing again.
“Done!” Yen Nhi declared proudly. “Now who wants to try my Super Special Monkey Soup?”
CUTIS held his nose. “Ewww! No way!”
Mom was laughing so hard she had to hold her belly. “Yen Nhi, you’re going to make your future husband run away if you cook like that!”
Yen Nhi laughed too, pretending to faint in mock embarrassment. The baby monkey, thinking it was part of the act, fanned her face with a leaf.
CUTIS couldn’t take it anymore — he rolled on the floor laughing. Mom just shook her head, smiling through tears. “You two are impossible! My poor stomach can’t handle this much laughter!”
Trouble in Paradise 😅

But, of course, when CUTIS and Yen Nhi play, something always goes wrong.
After all the fun, CUTIS had an idea: “Let’s make a picnic for Mom under the mango tree!”
Yen Nhi agreed instantly. They both started gathering random things — fruits, small snacks, a blanket, and even flowers to decorate the ground. It looked adorable at first, until Yen Nhi decided to surprise CUTIS by tossing a handful of flour (leftover from Mom’s cooking) into the air like “magic dust.”
Unfortunately, the wind blew right into CUTIS’s face.
“Ahhh! My eyes!!” he shouted dramatically, running in circles.
Yen Nhi gasped. “Oops! Sorry, sorry!”
The baby monkey thought CUTIS was playing and jumped on his back, clinging to his shirt. The result? CUTIS tripped over the picnic basket, and all the food went flying.
SPLAT! Mango slices everywhere.
Mom, who had just come out to see what they were doing, froze in shock — then slowly began laughing so hard she nearly lost her balance. “Oh no! Look at you two! You’ve turned the yard into a fruit salad!”
CUTIS stood there, covered in flour and mango, looking like a ghost who had been in a fruit war. Yen Nhi tried to clean his face but only smeared it worse.
The baby monkey, ever the opportunist, started eating the fallen fruit happily.
Mom sighed, shaking her head, still laughing. “I give up! You two win! CUTIS and Yen Nhi — the funniest couple in the whole world!”
The Ending Everyone Waited For 🤩

After cleaning up (and plenty more giggling), CUTIS, Yen Nhi, and the monkey sat under the mango tree together. Mom brought fresh fruit and milk, smiling lovingly at her little chaos-makers.
“You know,” she said softly, “even when you two make a mess, you make this home so full of joy.”
Yen Nhi smiled shyly. “We just wanted to make you laugh, Auntie.”
Mom brushed Yen Nhi’s hair gently. “You did more than that — you made me happy. That’s what matters most.”
CUTIS leaned back, sighing dramatically. “So who won the challenge, Mom?”
Mom grinned. “Both of you. You’re the Super Funny Couple of the Year!”
Yen Nhi and CUTIS looked at each other and cheered, “Yay!” Then, without warning, the baby monkey jumped into their laps, trying to grab a slice of mango — and chaos started again.
Mom laughed so hard she couldn’t stop. “Oh no! Not again! I’m helpless with you three!”
As the sun set over the golden fields, the sound of their laughter filled the air — warm, joyful, and unforgettable.
And that was the perfect ending:
Two best friends, a cheeky monkey, and a loving Mom who, no matter how crazy things got, couldn’t help but laugh every single time.
CUTIS & Yen Nhi — the super funny couple who proved that sometimes, the best kind of happiness is the one that comes with a big mess and endless laughter. 🤩😂💛
