The sun had barely risen over the jungle village, and already the sounds of hammers, saws, and busy workers echoed in the distance. A new construction site was being built near the river — strong monkeys carrying bamboo poles, others mixing mud and clay, and some climbing tall wooden scaffolds. Everyone was working hard to build new monkey houses.
But in the middle of all this noise and excitement, one clever little monkey named CUTIS had a sparkle in his eyes and an idea spinning in his mischievous mind.
While other monkeys saw a noisy work zone, CUTIS saw something else entirely.
He saw… opportunity. 💰🐒
That morning, CUTIS woke up in his banana-leaf bed and stretched his arms with a yawn. Baby Monkey, his little brother, was still asleep, clutching a banana like a pillow.
CUTIS whispered, “Hey, Baby, wake up! Today I’m going to do something amazing!”
Baby Monkey rubbed his eyes sleepily. “What now, CUTIS? Another adventure?”
CUTIS grinned. “Not just an adventure — a business! I’m going to get rich!”
Baby Monkey tilted his head. “Rich? Like with coins and bananas?”
“Exactly!” CUTIS said proudly. “And my secret plan starts… at the construction site.”
Baby Monkey blinked. “But CUTIS, that place is for workers, not for us!”
CUTIS waved his hand confidently. “That’s what makes it special! They’re all busy, and I’m going to use my brain — not my muscles. You’ll see!”
And off he went, tail swinging, ideas bubbling in his head.

When CUTIS reached the construction site, he hid behind a pile of bamboo and watched the workers carefully. Some were carrying rocks, others were sweating while pushing carts full of mud. Then he noticed something: every few minutes, the workers would stop to rest and drink water.
But they didn’t have anywhere comfortable to sit. Some sat on the ground; others leaned on rocks. That’s when the little lightbulb in CUTIS’s head went ding! 💡
“Hmm… what if I make them something nice to sit on?” he whispered to himself.
So CUTIS ran back home, grabbed a few strong banana leaves, some sticks, and vines, and tied them together to make little “leaf mats.” They weren’t perfect, but they looked comfortable enough.
The next day, CUTIS proudly walked up to the construction site and shouted, “Leaf mats for rent! Only one banana each! Sit in comfort while you rest!”
The workers burst into laughter. “Ha! What a funny little monkey!” one said.
But when they tried sitting on the mats, their eyes widened. “Wow! This is actually comfortable!”
And just like that, CUTIS’s business took off. In one hour, he had earned ten bananas.
Baby Monkey, who had followed him quietly, jumped in excitement. “CUTIS! You’re rich!”
CUTIS grinned proudly. “It’s just the beginning, little brother. This is my construction site business empire!”

The next day, CUTIS arrived early again, this time carrying something new — a basket full of fresh fruit juice he made by mashing wild berries and adding honey.
When the workers came for their lunch breaks, CUTIS announced loudly, “Fresh jungle juice! Cold and sweet! One banana a cup!”
At first, they laughed again. But when one of the tired workers tried it, his eyes sparkled. “This is delicious! So refreshing!”
Soon, everyone wanted a cup. CUTIS ran out of juice in minutes. He couldn’t believe it — his banana collection had doubled again!
By the third day, CUTIS was a legend at the construction site. Workers greeted him cheerfully. “Here comes little businessman CUTIS!”
He set up a tiny stand made of wood and leaves, with a hand-painted sign that said:
“CUTIS CONSTRUCTION SERVICES — WE MAKE WORK FUN!”
But CUTIS wasn’t done yet. He wanted to make his business even more “special.”
While exploring the site, he noticed something interesting — piles of leftover materials: small bamboo pieces, nails, and shiny rocks. The workers didn’t need them, and most were thrown aside. CUTIS suddenly had another idea.

He whispered to Baby Monkey, “What if we use these leftovers to make toys?”
Baby Monkey’s eyes lit up. “Toys? Like for little monkeys?”
“Exactly!” CUTIS said. “We can build tiny carts, towers, and swings!”
And that’s what they did. Every afternoon after the workers left, CUTIS and Baby Monkey snuck into the empty site and started building. CUTIS was surprisingly creative — he used tiny vines for ropes, flat bamboo pieces for seats, and even polished the rocks to make them sparkle.
Soon, they had a collection of cute little wooden toys. CUTIS proudly opened his “toy shop” under a tree near the path where young monkeys played.
He shouted, “Special toys made from the construction site! Only two bananas each!”
The kids loved it. In just a few days, he had so many bananas he didn’t know where to store them.
Baby Monkey’s eyes nearly popped. “CUTIS! You’re the richest monkey in the jungle now!”
CUTIS laughed proudly. “Smart brains build fortune, Baby!”

One afternoon, Dad found out about CUTIS’s “construction site business.”
He called out, “CUTIS! Come here, young monkey!”
CUTIS gulped and ran over, tail twitching nervously. “Yes, Dad?”
Dad folded his arms, pretending to be serious. “I heard you’ve been sneaking to the construction site again. What’s this I hear about selling juice and leaf mats?”
CUTIS scratched his head. “Uh… business?”
Dad raised an eyebrow. “Business?”
CUTIS nodded quickly. “Yes, Dad! I help the workers relax, and they pay me in bananas. I’m helping the community and saving for the family!”
Dad blinked, trying not to laugh. “You… you actually thought this through, didn’t you?”
CUTIS smiled proudly. “Of course! I even built toys from leftover materials!”
Dad finally burst into laughter. “You little genius! You’re unbelievable!”
Mom, who overheard the conversation, came out holding her belly and said warmly, “CUTIS, that’s very clever of you — but you must be careful. Construction sites can be dangerous.”
CUTIS nodded seriously. “I know, Mom. I only work in the safe parts, I promise.”
Mom smiled and kissed his forehead. “You’ve got a big heart and a smart brain, my son. Just don’t let greed make you forget kindness.”

CUTIS grinned. “Don’t worry, Mom! I share my bananas with Baby every day.”
Baby Monkey clapped proudly. “And he gives me extra for helping!”
A few days later, the construction was finally finished. The workers thanked CUTIS for his help and even gifted him a small wooden box as a token of appreciation. Inside were shiny river stones shaped like little hearts.
CUTIS was overjoyed. “This is the best reward ever!” he said.
Then he had a final brilliant idea. He set up a new sign near the completed building that read:
“CUTIS’S CONSTRUCTION CAFÉ — Grand Opening!”
Using his leftover fruit juice, leaf mats, and toys, CUTIS turned the quiet area into a fun rest stop for monkeys passing by. Parents relaxed on his mats, kids played with the toys, and everyone laughed and sipped his sweet juice.
Word spread quickly through the jungle — the clever little monkey who turned a construction site into a business paradise!

One evening, as the sun set behind the trees, CUTIS sat with Baby Monkey on a pile of bamboo, counting bananas.
“CUTIS,” Baby said softly, “you really did it. You got rich from the construction site!”
CUTIS smiled proudly. “Yes, but not just with bananas. Look —” He pointed to the happy monkeys laughing nearby. “I got rich in friends and happiness too.”
Baby Monkey nodded thoughtfully. “So you’re smart and kind.”
CUTIS grinned and winked. “That’s the secret to true success, little brother — use your brain, help others, and have fun along the way.”
The two laughed together as the stars began to twinkle above them. CUTIS had started with nothing but a funny idea — and ended up teaching everyone that sometimes, the richest hearts belong to those who dare to dream in the most unbelievable ways. 😯💰🐒
