VLOGMAS DAY 4 – Workout with Me, Shopping, Chit Chat

Hey everyone! Welcome back to Vlogmas Day 4! 🎄✨ I’m so excited to bring you along today—it’s a mix of productivity, self-care, and a little seasonal sparkle. If you’ve been following my Vlogmas journey so far, you already know we’re keeping things cozy, fun, and real. Today is all about moving our bodies, enjoying some festive shopping, and catching up with some much-needed chit-chat. So grab your favorite holiday drink—maybe a peppermint mocha or a warm spiced chai—and let’s dive into the day together!

Morning Vibes & Getting Ready

The day started slow and peaceful, just how I like it during the winter months. I lit a pine-scented candle, turned on my mini Christmas tree lights, and played some soft jazz Christmas music in the background while sipping my morning coffee. There’s something magical about December mornings that just makes you want to soak in every second.

After my coffee ritual, I slipped into my activewear and laced up my sneakers. Today’s plan? A full-body home workout! Nothing too intense—just a feel-good sweat session to shake off the holiday sluggishness and get those endorphins flowing.

Workout with Me

I set up a little corner of my living room for my workout. If you’ve been wanting to get back into a fitness groove, this is your sign! 💪 I started with a gentle warm-up: some arm circles, light jogging in place, and a few dynamic stretches. Then, I went into a 30-minute circuit. Here’s a peek at what I did:

  • 15 Jumping Jacks
  • 10 Squats
  • 10 Push-ups (on knees because let’s be real—it’s Vlogmas, not boot camp!)
  • 15 Lunges (each leg)
  • 30-second Plank
  • Repeat 3 rounds with 1-minute rest in between

I had Christmas lo-fi music playing in the background, which honestly made the whole workout feel more cheerful. I love how working out during Vlogmas feels like a gift to myself—taking care of my body while soaking in the festive mood.

Post-workout, I did a quick 5-minute stretch and guzzled a whole bottle of water. Hydration, folks—it’s the underrated holiday hero.

Quick Breakfast & Mini Life Update

After showering, I made a quick breakfast: oatmeal topped with banana slices, a spoonful of peanut butter, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. YUM. Super cozy and satisfying.

While eating, I sat down for a quick chit chat with you guys. If you watched the vlog, you’ll know I talked a bit about how I’ve been feeling lately. December is beautiful but can also get overwhelming. The pressure to do it all—to be cheerful, productive, and festive every second—is real. But I’m reminding myself (and you!) that it’s okay to slow down. Taking care of our mental health is part of the holiday magic, too.

Festive Shopping Time

After breakfast and journaling for a few minutes, it was time for a little holiday shopping! I grabbed my coat, scarf, and mittens—it was freezing today but super sunny, the perfect winter shopping weather.

I hit up a local holiday market first. They had handmade candles, ornaments, knitted scarves, and lots of cute gift ideas. I picked up a few stocking stuffers: a peppermint lip balm, a gingerbread-scented soy candle, and a cute ceramic mug that says “Merry & Bright.” Perfect for gifting… or maybe keeping for myself. 😂

Then I stopped by a bookstore to grab a couple of holiday reads. I LOVE curling up with a festive novel during December. I picked up “The Twelve Dates of Christmas” and “One Day in December”—let me know if you’ve read either of them!

I also made a quick stop at Target (because who doesn’t?) to grab wrapping paper, gift tags, and a few extra fairy lights for my room. By the time I was done, my arms were full and my heart was happy.

Coffee Shop Chill + More Chit Chat

To rest my feet, I popped into a cozy little café. I ordered a gingerbread latte (10/10, highly recommend) and found a corner table to journal, plan some Vlogmas content, and just enjoy being in the moment. These little pauses during the holiday rush are everything.

In the vlog, I took some time to answer a few of your questions from Instagram—everything from what’s on my Christmas wish list to how I stay motivated during the colder months. Honestly, connecting with you all like this is one of my favorite parts of doing Vlogmas. Your messages, your stories—it’s like we’re spending the holidays together.

Winding Down the Day

After heading home, I put on my comfiest pajamas (they have tiny candy canes on them!), made a simple dinner, and set up a mini wrapping station. I wrapped a couple of gifts while watching Home Alone in the background. Wrapping gifts is seriously therapeutic, especially with some holiday lights twinkling around.

Before bed, I lit my gingerbread candle, did a few gentle stretches, and read a chapter of my new book. My heart felt full and my body felt calm—exactly how I want to end every day in December.

Final Thoughts

Today was a beautiful mix of movement, self-care, holiday spirit, and connection. And that’s what Vlogmas is all about for me—not just sharing the picture-perfect parts of the season, but inviting you into the small moments that make this time of year truly magical.
