Bibi Supervises Uncle Phong Cutting Grass in the Abandoned House!

On a quiet sunny morning in a small countryside village, something unusual was happening at the edge of town. An old, abandoned house with ivy-covered walls and creaky wooden steps was finally getting some attention. The yard, once wild and forgotten, had turned into a jungle of tall grass, scattered weeds, and stubborn vines. But today, things were about to change—because Uncle Phong had arrived with his trusty grass cutter, and right behind him was his most curious companion: Bibi.

Bibi, a young monkey with a mischievous grin and bright eyes full of curiosity, was not the type to sit still. Ever since she was adopted by Uncle Phong, she had been following him everywhere like a shadow. Whether it was fixing a fence, watering plants, or organizing tools, Bibi always wanted to be involved. So naturally, when Uncle Phong grabbed his tools and said, “Let’s go fix up the old house,” Bibi jumped into action.

As they approached the abandoned house, Bibi perched on Uncle Phong’s shoulder, scanning the overgrown yard. Vines climbed the fence, and the grass had grown so high that you could barely see the path leading to the front door. Uncle Phong sighed, pushing up his sleeves. “Looks like this is going to be a long day,” he muttered.

But Bibi was excited. She leapt off his shoulder and began running around the yard, inspecting every corner. She picked up a fallen stick, poked it at a clump of weeds, and even climbed halfway up a tree to get a better look. She wasn’t just tagging along—she was ready to supervise.

Uncle Phong started up the grass cutter, and the loud buzz filled the air. The sharp blades spun, cutting through the dense jungle of grass like a knife through butter. Bibi, sitting safely on a nearby stump, watched with intense focus. Every time Uncle Phong moved forward, Bibi would tilt her head, making sure no spot was missed.

Every now and then, Bibi would jump up and run toward Uncle Phong, pointing—or rather, squeaking excitedly—at a patch he hadn’t mowed. “Eee-eee!” she chattered, waving her arms. Uncle Phong would laugh and say, “Yes, yes, Bibi. I see it.” Then he would mow over the spot she had indicated, much to her satisfaction.

It wasn’t long before Bibi started getting more involved. She tried picking up smaller twigs and moving them out of the way. Of course, she was still a monkey, so occasionally she got distracted. One moment she was helping; the next, she was swinging from a vine or chasing a butterfly.

Still, her supervision was oddly helpful. Uncle Phong didn’t mind the company. In fact, he found her enthusiasm contagious. Together, they made a good team—one cutting, one pointing, and both enjoying the process.

As the sun climbed higher in the sky, the yard slowly began to change. The wildness gave way to a neat path. The once-hidden flower beds along the edge of the house were now visible again. Bibi squealed with joy when she discovered an old garden gnome buried in the grass. She picked it up and proudly presented it to Uncle Phong, who chuckled and set it aside for cleaning.

At lunchtime, Uncle Phong took a break under a shady tree. Bibi climbed onto his lap, munching on a banana while he sipped water. “You’re quite the little supervisor,” he said, rubbing her head. “Maybe I should hire you full-time.” Bibi squeaked in agreement, clearly taking the role seriously.

After the short break, they resumed their mission. Uncle Phong focused on the tougher corners where thick vines had grown around the fence and tree roots tangled beneath the soil. Bibi followed him closely, watching carefully and jumping in to remove stray branches. Her small hands were perfect for tugging out stubborn weeds near the base of the trees.

As the day wore on, they finally reached the back of the house, which had the worst overgrowth. The grass was nearly waist-high, and the area was filled with buzzing insects and tiny frogs hopping around. Bibi was startled at first, but she quickly adapted. She began jumping along the narrow stone path, pointing out interesting finds—a rusty bicycle wheel, an old toy truck, and even a pair of broken glasses.

Each discovery was like a treasure, and she’d bring them one by one to Uncle Phong. “You’re turning this into an archaeological dig,” he laughed, placing the items in a box he brought along.

By late afternoon, the yard looked entirely different. The grass was neatly cut, the weeds removed, and the path was visible from the street. The house, though still old and worn, looked less like an abandoned ruin and more like a place that could be loved again.

Bibi stood proudly on a trimmed tree stump, looking out over the yard. She raised her little arms like a victorious explorer surveying the land she had conquered. Uncle Phong took off his hat, wiped the sweat from his brow, and looked at the scene. “You did good today, Bibi,” he said. “Real good.”

Before they left, Uncle Phong took out his phone and snapped a photo—Bibi standing tall, surrounded by the trimmed lawn and the golden sunlight peeking through the trees. “This one’s going on the wall,” he said with a grin.

As they walked home, Bibi clung to his shoulder, tired but satisfied. Her eyes slowly drooped, and soon she was asleep, her little chest rising and falling in sync with Uncle Phong’s steps. He smiled, feeling grateful not just for the cleared yard but for the bond that had grown between them.

The old abandoned house wasn’t so lonely anymore. Thanks to Uncle Phong’s hard work and Bibi’s energetic supervision, it had a new beginning—and maybe, just maybe, they would come back soon to start fixing up the inside.

After all, when you have a monkey like Bibi on your team, no job is too wild.
