Against All Odds, Little Merve Survives — A Tearful Journey from Pain to Healing.

When we arrived at the clinic, we found a small dog in a dire state, lying helplessly on the floor. No one knew what had happened, as the responsible party had vanished.

Unwrapping him revealed the shocking severity of his injuries; most of his skin was torn, and we found that he had a broken neck which required stitching. He also had a significant open wound on his leg.

Our team carefully treated these injuries, cleaning and suturing the areas to prevent any infections. Remarkably, Merve responded positively to our care, showing signs of happiness and a good appetite.

Despite his small size, he displayed a tremendous will to recover.

Over the next month, Merve’s skin began to heal, and new fur gradually covered his injuries, restoring a bit of his cuteness.

However, having been inactive for so long, his legs became weak, making walking a challenge. Nonetheless, our commitment to his recovery never wavered.

We devised different strategies to motivate him to walk again, and his progress was noticeable each day. After nearly two months, Merve succeeded in walking once more, though he was still somewhat unsteady.

Witnessing Merve walk independently and play with other dogs brought us immense joy. We hope that in the future, such suffering for dogs can be prevented, sparing them from experiencing such hardships in the first place.
