Lara didn’t go with us because the night before the trip she had a temperature of 39.7, so we used the help of our grandmothers to look after her and thank them for that. ❤️ Now she is better too. Kudos to the grandmothers 👏👏 @sandramiljkovic75 @olgicanezic
The conditions on Jahorina today were more than good for skiing and tomorrow we plan to see off both the day and night shifts. Best wishes to everyone! ❤️

We cried with laughter today! 😂 Although we have a high tolerance threshold for what is shareable and what is not, there are some things that are not for the web. A very nice day spent on @jahorina with a group of people we know well.
Today was one of those days that leaves you smiling long after it’s over. It started with a group of us heading up to Jahorina, one of the most picturesque mountain resorts in the region. A place that, at its best, combines stunning nature with a welcoming atmosphere. It was a day set to be filled with fun, relaxation, and, of course, laughter. But little did we know, it would turn into an unforgettable adventure — one that would have us crying with laughter, and in the end, with a few memories too precious to share.

The day began with a perfectly crisp morning, the sun barely peeking over the jagged peaks, and a fresh layer of snow shimmering across the slopes. Jahorina, known for its winter sports and incredible scenic views, had all the right elements in place. A group of us, all friends with a long-standing history of shared memories and inside jokes, gathered to spend the day together, with no expectations except to make the most of our time in this serene setting.
The drive up was filled with the usual banter. You know, the type of conversations that happen only when you’re with people who know you inside and out. The jokes were endless, a stream of puns, sarcastic remarks, and those particular inside jokes that leave you laughing so hard, you can’t remember how they even started. By the time we arrived, our cheeks were sore from smiling, and the anticipation of the day ahead had us all energized.

Once we hit the slopes, things escalated quickly. Of course, the seasoned skiers and snowboarders in the group were immediately tearing it up, showing off their skills with effortless precision. But the rest of us, well, we were more focused on staying upright than looking graceful. You know who you are if you’ve ever been the person who spends more time on the snow than on your feet. Yes, that was me. And yes, I think I spent a good portion of the day flailing around in a mix of confusion and surprise every time I found myself face-first in the snow.
But what made it all the more hilarious was the way everyone reacted. Every time one of us took a tumble, there would be a chorus of laughter. But instead of any judgment, there was always a helping hand — whether it was helping to get someone back up or offering some comical, yet well-intended, advice like, “Maybe try leaning forward just a little more” (with an actual demonstration, of course, which inevitably resulted in even more snow-packed faces). There was no sense of competition or ego on the slopes today, just pure enjoyment. We were all a little bit clumsy, but we didn’t care.
The real magic of the day, though, wasn’t the skiing. It was the people. Being surrounded by familiar faces, people we’ve known for years, and who we’ve gone through all sorts of moments with — the tough ones and the easy ones — was what made the day so special. We all knew each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and there was no judgment. We could be ourselves completely, letting loose without worrying about anything. And let’s just say, when you’re with people like that, the jokes and laughter are endless.
At one point, we decided to take a break and gather at a cozy little chalet tucked away on the side of the mountain. There, over steaming mugs of hot chocolate (and in some cases, mulled wine for those of us who needed a bit more warmth), we shared stories from our past. Of course, these weren’t just any stories — these were the embarrassing, ridiculous, and downright funny stories that have been passed around the group for years. There’s something about being in an intimate setting, with the mountain surrounding you, that makes you feel like you’re in a bubble, isolated from the rest of the world. And in that bubble, you can’t help but laugh harder, cry from laughing, and leave with your face aching from the sheer joy of it all.
One story in particular had us all in stitches. It was one of those moments where you just know you’ve reached the peak of humor. We were all so immersed in the retelling of a ridiculous situation that none of us could catch our breath. Every time we thought the story was over, someone would add another ridiculous detail that would make it even funnier. It was the type of laughter that’s contagious — where one person starts laughing so hard that everyone else can’t help but join in. It’s the kind of moment where, if someone were to walk in and not know what was happening, they’d probably think we were all losing our minds. But to us, it was the best feeling in the world. Laughter truly is the best medicine, and today, we all overdosed.
But here’s the thing — while we definitely wanted to share these moments with the world, there’s something about the day that made us realize not everything is for the web. Sure, we took plenty of photos and videos, but some things are too precious, too personal, and too hilarious to put on social media. Some of the best moments are those that live only in the memories of the people who were there, those who know the context behind every laugh, every mishap, and every moment that only those closest to you can truly appreciate.
There are moments that make you feel alive, moments where the laughter and joy are so pure that you don’t need anyone else’s validation. It’s the kind of day where you realize how important it is to be surrounded by the right people, those who don’t judge you when you fall, those who know exactly how to bring a smile to your face when you’re having a rough day, and those who can laugh with you, even when you’re crying from it.
As the sun began to set, casting an orange glow over the snow-covered landscape, we headed back down the mountain. The conversation shifted from stories and laughter to plans for the next adventure, but there was a quiet understanding among us that today had been special. It wasn’t just the slopes or the mountain that made it so memorable. It was the people, the laughter, and the shared moments that only those who truly know you can create.
We cried with laughter today, and it wasn’t because of a funny video or an Instagram trend. It was because we were together, and sometimes, that’s all you need for the best day ever. There are stories and moments that we’ll never post on the web because they’re too personal, too raw, and too filled with joy to be anything other than private treasures. And those are the memories that will last the longest.
