The sun had barely risen over the gentle hills of the village when CUTIS woke up with a jump. His little monkey hands clapped with excitement, his tail swaying like a ribbon in the breeze. Today was not just any day—it was the continuation of the most joyful event of the year: the birthday party!
Yesterday had been Episode 1, filled with laughter, games, and sweet treats. But today—Episode 2—was going to be even more special. Uncle Tu had promised that there would be surprises, gifts, and even a special guest performance. CUTIS could hardly sit still as he looked over to Baby Monkey, who was still fast asleep, cuddling a tiny banana-shaped pillow.
“Wake up, sleepyhead!” CUTIS whispered, shaking him gently. “The party’s not over! We still have Episode 2!”
Baby Monkey opened one eye, confused. “Episode 2? What do you mean? Didn’t we already have cake?”
CUTIS giggled. “Oh no, no! Today we’re having the big celebration—music, games, and the treasure hunt!”
That was enough to wake Baby Monkey completely. He leapt out of bed, his fur puffing up with excitement. Together, the two ran outside where the rest of the animal family was already buzzing with activity. CUBIS was stringing colorful ribbons between the trees, while Mama Monkey arranged baskets of fruits, nuts, and flowers on a long wooden table.
Uncle Tu was in the corner, inflating balloons with a comically serious face, his cheeks puffing up like a drum each time. CUTIS couldn’t help but laugh. “Uncle Tu, you look like you’re turning into a balloon too!”
Uncle Tu laughed, pretending to float away. “If I do, you’ll have to catch me, CUTIS!”
The air was filled with cheerful energy, the kind that makes even the birds want to sing along. By midmorning, the place looked like a dream. Streamers hung from the trees, fruit platters glistened under the sun, and the smell of freshly baked banana cake drifted through the air.
As everyone gathered, Mama Monkey clapped her hands and said, “Welcome, everyone! The party continues today with new games and a big surprise for CUTIS and Baby Monkey!”
CUTIS’s eyes widened. “A surprise? For us?”
Mama smiled mysteriously. “You’ll have to wait until the end to find out!”
The Games Begin
The first game was “Banana Balance.” Each monkey had to carry a banana on their head while walking across a narrow log. The one who reached the other side without dropping it would win a prize. CUTIS went first, balancing the banana carefully. He took one step, then another, his little feet wobbling but steady.
“Go CUTIS!” cheered Baby Monkey. “You got this!”
Halfway through, a gust of wind almost knocked the banana off, but CUTIS caught it in time with his tail, earning loud cheers from the crowd. When he finally reached the end, everyone clapped, and Mama Monkey gave him a shiny golden ribbon as his reward.
Next up was Baby Monkey, who—unlike CUTIS—decided to run across. The banana flew off his head and landed right on CUBIS’s face! The entire crowd burst into laughter as CUBIS stood frozen, banana peel sliding slowly down his cheek.
“Looks like you found a new skincare routine!” CUTIS teased, laughing so hard he nearly fell off the log.
Baby Monkey giggled too, embarrassed but happy. That was what made the party so fun—nobody cared about winning or losing. It was all about joy, friendship, and love.
The Treasure Hunt

After lunch, Uncle Tu announced, “Now, everyone, it’s time for the Birthday Treasure Hunt!”
The monkeys cheered wildly. Uncle Tu explained that he had hidden small treasures around the forest—shiny pebbles, little trinkets, and even a few wrapped surprises. Whoever found the Golden Banana would be the Treasure King of the day!
CUTIS and Baby Monkey teamed up, holding paws and running through the forest. They searched under leaves, behind rocks, and inside hollow logs. Baby Monkey found a tiny bell tied with a red ribbon. CUTIS found a wooden whistle carved in the shape of a star. But the Golden Banana was nowhere to be seen.
After almost an hour, they sat down to rest. “Do you think someone already found it?” Baby Monkey asked, his voice a little disappointed.
CUTIS looked up at the sky, thoughtful. “Maybe… or maybe we’re looking in the wrong place.”
Then, a glimmer caught his eye—a sparkle reflecting the sunlight from the top of a tall tree. CUTIS’s eyes widened. “Look up there!”
At the very top, hanging from a branch, was something golden. It shimmered beautifully in the sunlight. The Golden Banana!
Without hesitation, CUTIS started climbing, his tail curling around branches for support. Baby Monkey followed, cheering him on. It was a tricky climb, but CUTIS was determined. Finally, with one last stretch, he grabbed the Golden Banana and held it high.
“We did it!” he shouted.
The crowd below erupted in cheers as the two monkeys came down. Uncle Tu crowned them both as Treasure Kings, giving them matching flower garlands. CUTIS proudly placed his around Baby Monkey’s neck. “We share everything,” he said softly.
The Big Surprise

As the sun began to set, the forest glowed orange and gold. Everyone gathered around the big table again. Mama Monkey brought out a new cake—this one bigger, brighter, and shaped like a banana tree. CUTIS and Baby Monkey gasped in awe.
“This,” Mama said, “is your Friendship Cake. You’ve shown love, teamwork, and care for each other. That’s what birthdays are really about.”
CUTIS smiled warmly. “We’re so lucky to have everyone here.”
Then Uncle Tu clapped his hands. “Wait! The surprise isn’t over yet!”
He motioned toward the forest path, and suddenly soft music began to play. From behind the trees came a group of children carrying lanterns shaped like stars, moons, and hearts. They sang a sweet birthday song, their voices blending beautifully with the chirping crickets and rustling leaves.
CUTIS and Baby Monkey stood hand in hand, eyes sparkling with wonder. The night sky glittered above, and the forest glowed with lantern light. It felt like magic—pure, warm, unforgettable magic.
When the song ended, fireworks burst in the sky, painting the night with colors. CUTIS whispered, “This is the best birthday ever.”
Baby Monkey nodded. “Episode 2 is even better than Episode 1!”
They laughed, hugging tightly as the others joined in. The animals danced under the stars, Uncle Tu juggled fruits to make everyone laugh, and Mama Monkey wiped happy tears from her eyes.
As the night grew deeper, CUTIS looked around at his family and friends. He felt a deep sense of gratitude—not just for the fun, but for the love that surrounded him.
He turned to Baby Monkey and said softly, “No matter what, let’s always celebrate life like this—together.”
Baby Monkey smiled. “Always.”
And under the starlit sky, surrounded by laughter and love, the birthday party of CUTIS and Baby Monkey came to a beautiful, heartwarming end—until Episode 3, of course.
Because in their world, every day was an adventure worth celebrating.
