Life moves fast, and as parents, we often find ourselves marveling at how quickly our little ones grow. Today’s Day in the Life (DITL) is all about Aza’s journey—her milestones, daily routine, and the little moments that make parenting so special. Watching Aza grow up has been an incredible experience, and I can’t wait to share a glimpse of our day with you!

Morning Routine: A Bright Start to the Day
The day begins early in our house, especially with Aza being such an energetic little one. As soon as the sun peeks through the curtains, she’s up and ready to go!
6:30 AM – Wake-Up Time
Aza wakes up with the biggest smile, ready to take on the world. She loves morning cuddles, and we spend a few minutes snuggling before getting out of bed.
7:00 AM – Breakfast & Chatting
Breakfast time is one of my favorite moments of the day. We sit together at the table while she enjoys her favorite meal—oatmeal with a bit of honey and fruit. Lately, she’s been getting more independent, insisting on feeding herself (which, of course, results in a little mess, but that’s all part of the fun!).
7:45 AM – Getting Dressed & Playtime
Choosing an outfit for the day has become a serious decision for Aza. She loves picking out her own clothes, and it’s adorable to see her developing her own sense of style. After getting dressed, we spend some time playing with her favorite toys—building blocks, stuffed animals, and her ever-growing collection of books.

Midday Adventures: Learning and Exploring
Aza is at that stage where she’s curious about everything. She asks a million questions a day, and I love seeing her little mind at work.
10:00 AM – Outdoor Time
If the weather is nice, we head outside for a little fresh air. Whether it’s a trip to the park, a walk around the neighborhood, or some time in the backyard, Aza thrives when she’s exploring nature. She’s recently become fascinated by butterflies, so we always keep an eye out for them!
11:30 AM – Lunchtime & Quiet Time
After running around outside, it’s time for lunch. Aza is becoming more adventurous with her food choices, and today’s menu includes a small sandwich, sliced cucumbers, and some yogurt. After eating, we wind down with a book before her midday nap.
12:30 PM – Nap Time
Aza still takes a nap (thankfully!), and this is the time I use to catch up on work, clean up, or just take a breather. It’s incredible how quickly kids grow, and I know nap time won’t last forever, so I treasure these quiet moments.

Afternoon Fun: Creativity & Bonding
2:30 PM – Arts & Crafts
Aza loves anything creative, so we usually do a little painting, coloring, or even some DIY projects. Today, she’s obsessed with stickers and has decided to decorate just about everything in sight—including herself!
4:00 PM – Learning Time
We make learning fun through interactive activities. Whether it’s practicing letters, counting, or working on puzzles, Aza is always eager to learn. Her latest obsession? Naming all the animals and their sounds!
5:00 PM – Playdate or Family Walk
On some days, we meet up with friends for a little playdate. Other days, we take a relaxing family walk before dinner. These are the moments that remind me just how fast she’s growing.
Evening Routine: Winding Down
As the day comes to a close, it’s all about relaxation and bedtime rituals.
6:30 PM – Dinner Time
Dinner is always a fun experience, and Aza loves being involved in little ways, like setting the table. She’s becoming more vocal about her food preferences, which means we’re constantly trying new things!
7:30 PM – Bath Time & Pajamas
There’s something so soothing about bath time. Aza loves splashing around and playing with her bath toys. Afterward, we get her into cozy pajamas and brush her teeth.
8:00 PM – Storytime & Bedtime
Every night, we read a bedtime story (or three!). Aza has a few favorites that she asks for over and over again. We cuddle up, read, and then say our goodnights. As I tuck her in, I can’t help but reflect on how much she’s growing each day.

Final Thoughts: Watching Aza Grow
This stage of childhood is full of big milestones, little moments, and so much love. Every day, Aza is learning, exploring, and developing into her own person. It’s bittersweet—on one hand, I love seeing her grow and become more independent, but on the other, I wish I could slow time down just a little.
Being a parent is a journey filled with ups and downs, but at the end of the day, it’s all about cherishing the moments that make it special. No matter how fast time flies, I’ll always be here to cheer Aza on every step of the way!
