Bibi was a small golden dog with the fluffiest fur and the most gentle eyes. She lived in a cozy house with Grandma, who loved her dearly. Every morning and evening, Bibi had a special routine: she would brush her teeth and then patiently wait for Grandma to return home from her daily errands. It was a habit that made everyone in the neighborhood admire her for her obedience and discipline.

The Start of Bibi’s Toothbrushing Habit
Bibi wasn’t always fond of brushing her teeth. When she was a playful puppy, she would chew on anything she found, from Grandma’s slippers to the legs of the wooden chairs. One day, she chewed on something that hurt her little gums—a hard bone that was too tough for her small teeth. She whined in pain, and Grandma quickly noticed.
Grandma, being the caring person she was, took Bibi to the vet. The vet explained that just like humans, dogs needed to clean their teeth too. Otherwise, their teeth could get weak, and they might have trouble eating.

From that day on, Grandma introduced Bibi to the habit of brushing her teeth. Every morning and evening, before and after meals, Grandma would gently brush Bibi’s teeth with a special dog-friendly toothpaste that smelled like chicken. At first, Bibi didn’t like it. She would squirm and try to lick the toothpaste instead of letting Grandma brush properly. But after a few days, she realized that her mouth felt fresh, and her teeth stopped hurting.

Over time, Bibi became used to the routine. She would even sit in front of Grandma with her mouth slightly open, ready for her daily brushing. The neighbors found it adorable, and soon, Bibi became known as “the dog with the cleanest teeth” in the area.

Bibi’s Daily Routine
Every morning, Bibi would wake up with the first rays of sunlight streaming through the window. She would stretch her little paws and wag her fluffy tail before heading straight to the bathroom. She knew it was time for her morning brushing.
Grandma would take the soft toothbrush and gently scrub Bibi’s teeth while talking to her softly. “A clean mouth is a happy mouth, Bibi,” she would say. Bibi would sit still, enjoying the attention and love from Grandma. Once the brushing was done, she would happily wag her tail and give Grandma a small lick on the hand as if to say thank you.
After breakfast, Grandma would go out to the market to buy fresh vegetables and other household items. Bibi always knew when Grandma was about to leave. She would sit by the door, tilting her head slightly, watching Grandma put on her shoes.

Waiting for Grandma
One of Bibi’s favorite habits was waiting for Grandma to come home. As soon as Grandma left, Bibi would find a cozy spot by the front door and curl up. She never whined or tried to follow Grandma. Instead, she would wait patiently, her ears perked up at every sound outside.
Sometimes, she would take a nap while waiting. Other times, she would watch the street through the little gap under the door, wagging her tail whenever she heard footsteps that sounded like Grandma’s.
The moment Grandma’s scent reached her nose, Bibi would jump up and rush to the door. She would bark excitedly, her tail wagging like a little golden fan. As soon as Grandma stepped inside, Bibi would greet her with happy barks and playful jumps.
“Did you wait for me, my good girl?” Grandma would ask, rubbing Bibi’s fluffy head. Bibi would bark softly, as if to say, “Of course, Grandma! I always do!”

Bibi’s Special Bond with Grandma
Bibi and Grandma shared a beautiful bond. They had a daily routine that brought them even closer. Whether it was brushing teeth or waiting at the door, Bibi always showed her love and obedience in the simplest yet most meaningful ways.
One rainy afternoon, Grandma had to go to the market, but the weather turned stormy. Thunder roared in the sky, and the rain poured heavily. Bibi, who usually waited by the door, felt uneasy. She kept pacing back and forth, worried about Grandma.
When Grandma finally returned, she was drenched from head to toe. Bibi immediately ran to her, sniffing and making sure she was okay. Grandma laughed and hugged her. “You’re such a sweet girl, Bibi,” she said. “Always looking out for me.”
Bibi wagged her tail and licked Grandma’s wet hands, as if to say, “I’ll always be here for you.”

The Neighborhood’s Favorite Dog
Bibi’s habits of brushing her teeth and waiting for Grandma made her quite famous in the neighborhood. Children would stop by to watch her morning brushing routine, and many of the elderly neighbors admired how patient and well-behaved she was.
One day, a little girl named Lily, who lived next door, asked Grandma, “How did Bibi learn to be so obedient?”
Grandma smiled and replied, “Patience, love, and consistency. Dogs, like children, learn from the love we give them. Bibi knows I care for her, and in return, she listens and loves me back.”
Lily was inspired and decided to teach her own puppy, Max, to brush his teeth too. With Grandma’s guidance, she slowly trained Max just like Bibi, and soon, Max became just as disciplined.

A Lifetime of Love and Habits
As the years passed, Bibi continued her daily habits. Even as she grew older, she never forgot to sit patiently for her brushing and wait for Grandma by the door. Their love was something truly special—a bond built on trust, care, and unwavering companionship.
One day, a local newspaper heard about Bibi’s story and featured her in an article about well-trained and loving pets. Grandma was proud, and Bibi, though she didn’t understand fame, was just happy to receive more belly rubs and treats.
Bibi’s story became an inspiration to many pet owners in the neighborhood. People began spending more time with their pets, teaching them good habits, and appreciating the simple yet meaningful ways animals express their love.
Even as the seasons changed, one thing remained constant—Bibi, sitting by the door, waiting for Grandma, and always ready for her daily brushing. Because for Bibi, love wasn’t about grand gestures; it was in the small, everyday habits that made life special.
