Lala was never one to sit still for long. From the moment the sun peeked over the horizon each morning, she was up, stretching, dancing, and moving around with an energy that could light up an entire room. Over the years, her love for exercise had grown into a passionate daily routine. Whether it was yoga at sunrise, a bit of cardio in the garden, or evening stretches before bed, Lala never missed a day. Movement, for her, was more than just physical health—it was joy, peace, and balance.
One morning, after finishing her usual set of stretches and bodyweight workouts on the front porch, Lala wiped the sweat from her forehead and looked around. The flowers were blooming, the birds were chirping, and the garden air was fresh. But something was missing. As much as she loved the outdoors, the weather was becoming unpredictable lately—either too hot or too rainy. Her yoga mat kept getting soaked, and her dumbbells were starting to rust.
She sighed and walked into the house, where CEO Kien was seated with his laptop, already immersed in meetings and reports. Lala tiptoed up beside him, holding a bottle of water in one hand and a determined expression on her face.
“Kien,” she said gently, waiting for him to lift his eyes from the screen.
He looked up and smiled. “Morning, Lala! Done with your workout?”
“Yes,” she nodded. “But I need to talk to you. It’s important.”
Kien closed his laptop halfway and leaned forward. “Tell me.”
Lala hesitated only a moment before diving in. “I think… it’s time we had a gym.”
Kien blinked. “A gym?”
“Yes!” she said with rising excitement. “Just a small home gym. Nothing too fancy. A space where I can exercise properly, rain or shine.”
He leaned back in his chair and folded his arms, curious. “But Lala, you already work out every day in the garden. You seem to enjoy that.”
“I do,” she admitted. “But lately the weather hasn’t been kind. The equipment’s starting to wear out. Plus, I’ve been thinking… a gym could help me improve my routine, try new things, and stay consistent without distractions.”
Kien could see her logic. More than that, he admired her discipline. Every day without fail, Lala moved with passion and grace. Exercise was a big part of her identity, and he wanted to support that.

He rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “What kind of gym are you thinking about? A full one, or something more simple?”
Lala lit up like a bulb. She pulled out a crumpled sketch she had drawn on a notepad the night before—her dream mini gym. It had a yoga corner with soft lighting and mirrors, a cardio zone with a treadmill and stationary bike, a strength section with free weights and resistance bands, and even a small speaker system for her workout playlists.
Kien laughed in admiration. “You’ve already planned everything!”
“I’ve been dreaming about it,” she said, slightly bashful.
“Okay,” he nodded. “Let’s do it.”
Lala squealed with joy and hugged him tightly. “Thank you, Kien!”
Over the next week, the two of them got to work. Kien cleared out a large storage room that wasn’t being used. With a bit of fresh paint, new flooring, and the right lighting, the space was transformed into a bright and airy exercise studio.
They visited local shops to pick out equipment together. Lala selected a high-quality yoga mat, a wooden ballet bar, an adjustable bench, kettlebells, resistance bands, and a foldable treadmill. Kien insisted on adding a mini fridge for water bottles and post-workout snacks. They even installed a large mirror wall so Lala could check her form during stretches and movements.
When the gym was finally ready, Lala walked in and gasped. It was better than she had imagined. The sunlight streamed in through the windows, the equipment sparkled, and her favorite calming music played softly in the background.
From that day forward, Lala’s workout routine became even more enjoyable. She invited friends over for weekend yoga sessions, shared fitness tips on social media, and even got Kien to join her for morning stretches. Slowly but surely, the gym became a space of connection, joy, and transformation.

One day, as she was finishing her cooldown routine, she noticed Kien sitting on the bench press, watching her.
“What are you doing here, Mr. CEO?” she asked playfully.
He shrugged. “I think I’ve been inspired. Maybe it’s time I joined your routine.”
Lala laughed and handed him a resistance band. “Great! Let’s start with this. You’ll thank me later.”
As the days turned into weeks, the gym became more than a workout zone. It was where Lala and Kien shared time together, encouraged each other, and even had deep conversations during cooldown stretches. Their bond deepened through those shared experiences.
The habit of exercising every day had always been Lala’s personal joy. But now, with the new gym and Kien’s support, it became something bigger—a lifestyle that brought health, inspiration, and happiness into their home.
One evening, after a peaceful yoga session followed by a smoothie, Kien looked over at Lala and said, “You were right, you know. This gym isn’t just for fitness. It’s made our life better.”
Lala smiled, her face glowing with contentment. “It’s amazing what a little movement, love, and support can do.”
And with that, the two clinked their smoothie glasses together—cheers to a healthier, stronger, and more joyful life, one day and one rep at a time.
