Bibi feels itchy so he asks Grandma for special care!

Bibi was a little golden dog with fluffy fur that sparkled under the sunlight. He was always full of energy, running through the garden, rolling in the grass, and chasing butterflies. But one morning, Bibi woke up feeling different. He felt an itch creeping up his back, then another on his ear, and another on his belly!

“Oh no!” Bibi yelped, scratching himself with his tiny paws. “Why am I so itchy?”

He twisted and turned, trying to reach the spots that itched the most, but it was no use. The more he scratched, the itchier he became. Frustrated, Bibi knew exactly who could help him—his loving Grandma, who always knew how to make things better.

Bibi trotted into the cozy house where Grandma was sitting in her rocking chair, knitting a warm blanket. She looked up and saw Bibi scratching all over. “Oh, my dear Bibi! What’s the matter?” she asked in her gentle voice.

“Grandma, I feel so itchy!” Bibi whined, wiggling his body. “Can you help me?”

Grandma put down her knitting and patted her lap. “Come here, sweetheart. Let’s have a look.”

Bibi jumped onto Grandma’s lap, and she carefully inspected his golden fur. “Hmm… I see some little red spots. You might have rolled in something that didn’t agree with your skin.”

Bibi’s ears drooped. “Oh no! Will I always be itchy?”

Grandma chuckled and gave him a reassuring pat. “Don’t you worry, my dear. I know just the special care you need.”

Bibi wagged his tail excitedly. “What is it, Grandma?”

Grandma stood up and walked to the kitchen. She opened a cabinet and took out a small jar filled with a creamy substance. “This is my homemade oatmeal and honey cream. It’s very soothing for itchy skin.”

Bibi sniffed the jar. “It smells sweet!”

Grandma smiled. “That’s the honey. It will help calm your skin and make you feel much better.”

She scooped a little bit onto her fingers and gently rubbed it onto Bibi’s itchy spots. Bibi let out a sigh of relief as the cool cream touched his skin. The itchiness started to fade, and he felt much more comfortable.

“Ahhh,” Bibi said, stretching happily. “That feels so much better!”

“I’m glad,” Grandma said, giving him a warm hug. “But we also need to find out what made you itchy in the first place.”

Bibi tilted his head. “How do we do that?”

“Let’s take a little adventure,” Grandma said, putting on her sun hat. “We’ll check the places where you played yesterday.”

Bibi loved adventures! He wagged his tail and followed Grandma outside. They walked to the garden first.

“Did you roll in the grass here?” Grandma asked.

Bibi nodded. “Yes! I was chasing a butterfly, and I rolled all around.”

Grandma knelt down and examined the grass. “Hmm… It looks fine, but let’s be careful. Some plants can make your skin itchy.”

Next, they walked to the big tree where Bibi liked to nap.

“Did you rest here?” Grandma asked.

Bibi nodded again. “I took a big nap under the tree!”

Grandma looked closely at the tree bark and the ground beneath it. “Oh dear, I see some tiny ants here. Maybe they crawled onto you while you were sleeping.”

Bibi’s eyes widened. “Oh no! Ants made me itchy?”

“It’s possible,” Grandma said kindly. “But don’t worry. Now we know to check for ants before napping under trees.”

They continued their adventure and reached the flower garden.

“Did you play here?” Grandma asked.

Bibi nodded. “Yes! The flowers smelled so nice, so I rolled in them.”

Grandma gently touched the petals. “These are beautiful, but some flowers can make your skin sensitive. Maybe that’s what happened.”

Bibi thought for a moment. “So… if I want to roll in the flowers, I should be careful?”

“Exactly, my smart little pup,” Grandma said with a smile. “Now let’s go home and give you a nice oatmeal bath to wash away any leftover itchiness.”

Back at the house, Grandma filled a small tub with warm water and added oatmeal. Bibi stepped in, and the soothing water made him feel even better. Grandma gently scrubbed his fur, and soon he was clean, soft, and itch-free!

As Grandma dried him with a fluffy towel, Bibi licked her cheek. “Thank you, Grandma! You always know how to take care of me.”

Grandma laughed and gave him a kiss on the nose. “That’s what grandmas are for, my dear.”

That night, Bibi curled up on his favorite blanket, feeling cozy and loved. He knew that whenever he had a problem, Grandma would always have the perfect special care to make everything better.

And with that comforting thought, Bibi drifted into a peaceful sleep, dreaming of new adventures—with just a little more caution next time!
