People stunned after seeing what $2,500 ‘unbreakable man’ bootcamp really is

The experience urges men to ‘become the man you were born to be’

Footage from an experience designed to create ‘the unbreakable man’ showing a man ‘overcoming his fear and asserting his power’ has left social media users gobsmacked.

A video from ‘The Unbreakable Man Experience’ has been shared on Instagram.

The ‘experience’? Well, it’s a ‘three-day immersive experience for men ready to activate their highest potential’, with the latest event having just taken place in Austin, Texas.

The tagline reads: “Reclaim Your Authentic Self. Lead Your Life. Become the Man You Were Born to Be.”

And footage from one of the events has left social media users shocked.

What is ‘The Unbreakable Man Experience’?

Dr Dave Cohodes and Unbreakable Man took to Instagram in a collaborative post in January 2024 to share a video of ‘an example of a man overcoming his fear and asserting his power’.

The video shows a man running forward screaming ‘I am a man’ – over and over again, until he eventually breaks down.

The clip continues: “He is over run with emotion because he allowed himself to let go and assert himself. When a man taps into his power, a grieving process happens. This is a natural release of the old self.”

The caption further details what the exercise – dubbed ‘calling men forward’ – hopes to achieve.

What the exercise seeks to achieve

The exercise is stated to channel men to ‘move through their inner resistance’ and ‘lead’ alongside be more ’emotionally intelligent’ and ‘get results because they aren’t afraid to do what it necessary’ alongside being ‘purpose driven’.

“We need more men to breakthrough their inner resistance and lead the world from their heart.” the caption continues.

The post further claims the participant in the exercise ‘who was afraid to move forward in life’ was able to ‘break through that’ by taking part in the experience.

“He tapped into a deep well of power and unleashed it,” it says. “When he did this, what came through was a sensation of grief at the end. This is a natural release process for any man unlocking their power.”

And it’s not taken long for social media users to weigh in.

One user wrote: “What the actual F is this,” while another added: “The first two times he said ‘Move forward’ sounded like a PS2 video game tutorial segment.”

A third questioned: “Ppl pay to do this?”

But what else does the experience actually consist of?

What does the ‘The Unbreakable Man Experience’ entail?

Its website details the experience as a ‘modern day rite-of passage’ which is ‘designed to challenge and support you physically, mentally, and emotionally’, with the experience costing either a single payment of $2,497 or 3 payments of $847.

It explains: “You will be guided through the IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES to breakthrough mindsets, overcoming inner resistance, and command your life.

“This is a complete retreat away from the pressures of the world, allowing you to dive deep into yourself so you can uncover who you are, your soul mission, and reclaim your authentic self.”

Day one consists of a focus on ‘clarity’ – seeing those involved ‘tap into the deep parts of [their] Masculine Power’ and become ‘more productive, confident and magnetic’ by forming a ‘clearly guided road map to build the business, relationships and body you want’.

Day two will see men ‘face the resistance holding [them] back,’ alongside ‘reprogram [their] subconscious mind’ and ‘release the past’.Featured Image Credit: Instagram/@drdavecohodes

People stunned after seeing where Olympic canoe athletes’ legs go

Footage of Olympic canoeists revealing where their legs actually go has social media users ‘learning something new everyday’

Olympics viewers are flooding to social media in shock after only just realizing where competitors’ legs go in the canoe.

If like me, you were forced on a family trip on a kayak down some river in France – which would inevitably up in an argument and threat to shove someone in the water – and thought because of the experience, you already how people sit in a kayak or canoe, then you are gravely mistaken.

Not only are kayaks and canoes very different apparatus but you probably didn’t realise that, from the waist down, not is all quite as it seems when it comes to the Olympic canoeists you may be currently watching compete on TV.

Clearly, it is a lot more difficult to manoeuvre a canoe than most of us think – it is an Olympic sport after all – and that’s not just the fact of being in gushing water and having to make your way round various poles while battling the current, but it’s also because you probably didn’t realise how many professional canoeists are sat.

Or rather, not sat.

A video of French canoeist Doriane Delassus has been shared to Instagram by Planet Canoe, which teased: “Ever wonder how athletes get out of a canoe?”

The footage shows Delasses get to the end of a course, before getting up to get out of the canoe, the clip revealing canoeists aren’t sat on their bums inside the boats but are actually kneeling.

And it’s not taken long for people to flood to social media in shock.

One Instagram user said: “You’re telling me that they were on their knees the whole time?!?! For some reason I always assumed that they sat with their legs straight.”

“THEY’RE ON THEIR KNEES?” another added.

A third commented: “Ur supposed to canoe on your knees?!?!!?!!? I never knew that.”

“On your knees gives you THE MOST control over the canoe/kayak itself. I got a lvl 1 Orcka in white water canoeing (could have been 2 but lazy).” a fourth said. “You WANT to be on your knees in aggressive water like that. Center of gravity, points of contact bla bla bla.”

For those of you still a bit confused – like me – GoPaddling explains: “Canoeing involves sitting or kneeling in an open boat using a paddle with one blade. “Whereas in a kayak, you sit down with your legs in front of you, while propelling forward with a double bladed paddle.”

And when it comes to the kneeling part, Paddling.com adds: “Kneeling off the seat is a much more stable position. Not only does it lower your center of gravity, but it gives you more intimate contact with, and therefore more control of, the canoe.”

And a final simply resolved: “Learning something new everyday.”Featured Image Credit: Brendan Moran/Sportsfile via Getty Images / Stephen McCarthy/Sportsfile via Getty Images

People horrified after seeing what happened when man filmed inside a Chernobyl reactor pit

To this day, it remains very difficult to get close to Chernobyl

While the Chernobyl disaster took place multiple decades ago it still remains a fascinating part of European history, including any footage we can get of the doomed reactor.

On April 26, 1986, the No. 4 reactor of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded in Ukraine and sparked international concern as lethal amounts of radiation was released into the atmosphere.

Shockingly enough, this radiation was picked up hundreds of miles away from the explosion. But only a few hours later, it was picked up in different countries, ultimately spreading across the globe.

Around 30 people died from the immediate blast trauma of the reactor explosion and, while United Nations estimates that only 50 deaths can be directly attributed to the disaster, thousands of people went on to die from radiation exposure in the years that followed.

The fact that much of the surrounding area has been so irradiated it is both illegal and ill-advised to visit, however, that has only added to the fascination around it.

A video on Reddit has recently reinvigorated that fascination, while also instilling fear after seeing the simple horror displayed.

Alexander Kupny worked as a health physics technician at Reactor No. 3 in 1989 and is one of the few people who can say he has gotten unbelievably close to reactor No. 4 and lived.

From 2007 to 2009, unauthorized trips to Chernobyl sarcophagus, the vast concrete tomb built around the smoldering reactor in the months following the accident, became more frequent.

And eventually, accompanied by his friend Sergei Koshelev, Kupny took a trip to the depths of reactor 4 and recorded what he saw.

Amazingly, due to the ridiculously high levels of radiation still being given off in the reactor, the static seen in the video, is actually radiation.

On the Reddit thread, many social media users remarked their fear and surprise at the footage.

One user commented: “Everytime the camera goes over something dark, the invisible death becomes visible with all the little speckles showing on the camera. That is the radiation Interacting with the sensor.”

Another simply added: “Crazy how it affects the camera sensor.”

And a third added: “Awesome video, you basically just see some dirty factory basement, until you realize your looking at one of the most hazardous places on earth and its invisible death.”

Thankfully, Kupny and Koshelev wore all the protective equipment available to them to reduce their radiation exposure when they shot the video.

Woman who went viral for using 'clear phone' that left people shocked reveals what it really is

Woman who went viral for using ‘clear phone’ that left people shocked reveals what it really is

She said that using the unusual device was ’empowering’

A woman spotted with a ‘clear cellphone’ has explained what the contraption really is.

A few days ago, TikToker CatGPT sent people into a frenzy after sharing a clip of her stood in a queue and seemingly scrolling through a see-through phone.

The clip has since amassed over 52 million (yes, million) views at the time of writing. Cat captioned the short video: “Completely clear phone spotted in San Francisco on May 14…?!? Wtf??????”

It didn’t take long for people to take to the comments section of the now hugely viral TikTok.

One person asked: “Could it be the new Nokia clear phone????”

A second suggested: “This could be a Black Mirror promo,” while another said: “This looks like a social commentary or a walking art exhibit I’m too uncultured to understand.”

The most popular theory was the one about Nokia’s clear cellphone, which reportedly can set a person back thousands of dollars.

While the rumor mill has long be turning on such a topic, Nokia have never confirmed that it’s clear cellphone actually exists; so if it isn’t a Nokia device, what is it?

It’s something called a methaphone, according to Cat.

“It’s exactly what it looks like — a clear piece of acrylic shaped like an iPhone,” she explained in a follow up video in the wake of her newfound viral stardom. “But why does it exist?”

Apparently Cat’s friend created the unique contraption and she further divulged what inspired him to do so.

“He told me what he wanted to test if we’re all so addicted to our phones,” Cat shared. “Then could you potentially curb someone’s addiction by replacing the feeling of having a phone in your pocket with something that feels exactly the same?”

Sharing her own thoughts on the methaphone, Cat said that she thinks the piece of plastic has become some people because ‘this little piece of acrylic feels like a physical artefact that directly responds to this collective tension that our phones, which are meant to make us feel more connected, do the opposite’.

With this in mind, she described the methaphone as ’empowering’ despite the fact she hasn’t used her real cellphone any less than she did since getting one of the faux phones.

“The conversation that [the methaphone] has sparked online, that’s what really matters,” Cat continued.

Methaphones are sold on a website called Mindless Toys and will set you back $25. As Cat said, they’re currently sold out.

The site says of the unusual piece of fake tech: “For 50 years, heroin addicts have used methadone to help break their addiction. Now you can step down your dependency on your mobile device with this: methaphone.”

It continues: “We carry our phones everywhere. It feels strange and unsettling when we can’t feel them. We twitch, worried we’ve lost something.

“Methaphone can help you manage cravings and withdrawal symptoms. It can fill that hole in your back pocket. It can fill that hole in your hand. Opioid addicts have used methadone to help step down from dependency, and now you have this.”

Cybertruck owner reveals how much it really costs to fully charge and people are horrified

Elon Musk’s Tesla Cybertruck may be a vehicle of the ‘future’ but it might not be as cost efficient as you think

You may be ‘driving the future’ with Elon Musk’s Tesla Cybertruck but you certainly won’t be saving many pennies anytime soon.

One Cybertruck owner’s vehicle lost control and smashed into their neighbor’s house just hours after purchase, and another driver considered selling it after someone simply reacted to their purchase.

And if you were looking into buying a Cybertruck because it’s electric – electric cars are widely considered more expensive to buy upfront but cheaper to run when compared to petrol or diesel cars – well, Elon Musk’s Tesla Cybertruck appears to be the exception.

Entrepreneur David Nguyen took to Instagram to share a video of him charging up his Cybertruck to one full charge after realizing he’d reached a charge of just three percent.

Now, you’d expect some swanky sort of movement detection or a face scanner to open up the charging port of the vehicle – it is a Tesla after all – however, Nguyen has to give the outside of the truck a few taps with the charger to get the port to open sesame.

In he plugs it, getting back in the car to reveal how long it’ll take to charge the truck up to 100 percent. Drum roll please.

And it’s a whopping ‘one hour and 30 minutes remaining’ to reach the charge limit of 296 miles ‘a.k.a. 100 percent’.

Nguyen explains it’ll be 121kW of energy to reach a full charge, but how much will this cost?

Well, in San Leandro, California, the rate of electricity is $0.61 per kWh and Nguyen kindly breaks down the maths so we don’t have to do it ourselves.

He explains: “That’s 121 x 0.61 that is $73 to give me a full tank. That’s going to give me a range of 296 miles. Is that good? Or not good?”

He resolves: “I think it’s pretty good because you’re driving the future a.k.a the Cybertruck.”

Alas, not everyone agrees.

One Instagram user wrote: “$70???? I thought electric was cheaper. Why are we doing this again.”

“80 dollars to fill up my GMC 1500 Sierra Diesel. Almost 600 miles with the full tank lmao . So NOT GOOD. Oh and it only took me four and half minutes to fill up,” another added.

A third commented: “So it’s the same to fill up a gas SUV, get further distance and it takes 10 minutes compared to 1.5 hours??? Think I’ll stick to combustion.”

And a fourth resolved: “Absolute joke.”
