The sun peeked over the treetops, casting soft golden rays into the cozy little house nestled at the edge of the forest. Birds chirped their cheerful melodies, and the morning dew sparkled like tiny diamonds on the grass. Inside, everything was still and peaceful—except for one small room where the day was about to begin with gentle love.
Lala, the adorable baby monkey, lay curled up on a fluffy blanket in her tiny bed. Her breathing was soft and rhythmic, her tail gently twitching now and then. She looked like the perfect picture of peace. And just outside her door, Thuy stood quietly, not wanting to wake her too suddenly. Thuy adored Lala with all her heart, and every morning, she made sure Lala’s day began just like that of a little princess.
Gently, Thuy pushed the door open, the hinges creaking ever so slightly. A soft smile spread across her face as she saw Lala stretch her little arms and slowly open her sleepy eyes.
“Good morning, sweet girl,” Thuy whispered.
Lala blinked, yawned, and then gave a sleepy grin. She knew it was time for her special morning routine. She sat up, and before she could even step out of bed, Thuy was already there with a warm, damp cloth to gently wipe her face and hands.
“There we go, fresh and clean like a morning flower,” Thuy cooed, brushing a soft comb through Lala’s fur, making sure every strand lay neatly.

After her gentle grooming, Lala was wrapped in a soft pink robe with little stars sewn along the edge. She waddled happily beside Thuy, who carried her to the breakfast nook—a sunny little corner with a round table and two chairs, one small enough just for Lala.
The table was already set. A tiny bowl of warm porridge, sweetened with banana slices and a drizzle of honey, waited for her. There was even a little cup of warm almond milk served in a pink mug with Lala’s name painted on it.
Thuy took her place beside her and watched lovingly as Lala picked up her spoon, dipping it carefully into the bowl. She giggled when a little drop landed on her nose, and Thuy reached over with a napkin to gently wipe it away.
“You eat just like royalty,” Thuy said with a smile.
When breakfast was done, Thuy scooped Lala up and carried her to the garden. The early morning sun had warmed the stones along the path, and the scent of blooming jasmine filled the air. Lala clapped her hands as she saw the butterflies fluttering through the blossoms.
A soft blanket had already been spread beneath the big frangipani tree, and on it were Lala’s favorite toys: her plush elephant, her squeaky giraffe, and a stack of storybooks. Thuy sat cross-legged and placed Lala in her lap.
“Would you like a story, my princess?” Thuy asked.
Lala nodded eagerly, her eyes sparkling with joy. She pointed to her favorite book—the one with the colorful pictures of a baby monkey who went on magical adventures.
As Thuy read, she changed her voice to match each character. Lala giggled at the funny parts and gasped during the exciting moments. Her tiny hands clapped with delight. Even the birds in the trees seemed to listen in, tilting their heads and chirping softly.
After storytime, it was time for a little pampering. Thuy brought out a tiny wooden brush and some coconut oil. With delicate strokes, she massaged the oil into Lala’s arms and legs, making her fur shiny and soft. Lala lay on her back, eyes half-closed, completely relaxed under Thuy’s gentle care.
“You’re the most beautiful monkey in the world,” Thuy whispered. “And you deserve a day full of love.”

Thuy then dressed Lala in a fresh outfit—a yellow dress with white polka dots and a little bow behind her ear. It was Lala’s favorite, and she twirled in it happily, showing off to the butterflies and the garden flowers.
By mid-morning, it was time for a playful stroll around the house. Thuy led the way, carrying a tiny parasol to shade Lala from the sun. They visited the duck pond, where Lala threw tiny bits of bread to the waddling ducks. She squealed with joy when they quacked and flapped their wings.
After that, Thuy helped her climb the little hill near the orchard. At the top, they sat side by side, watching the scenery stretch out below them. The wind gently ruffled Lala’s fur as Thuy held her close.
“This world is big and beautiful, just like you, sweet one,” Thuy whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of Lala’s head.
When they returned to the house, Thuy gave Lala a quick rinse in her little wooden tub. She sang lullabies as she dried her with a fluffy towel, then placed her back into her cozy robe.
By now, Lala was yawning again, ready for her midday nap. Thuy carried her into the nursery, where soft lullaby music was already playing. She rocked Lala gently in her arms, humming and swaying, until the little monkey’s eyes fluttered shut.
Before laying her down, Thuy whispered softly, “Sleep well, my little princess. I’ll be right here when you wake.”
She pulled the blanket up to Lala’s chin and gave her a final loving look before tiptoeing out of the room.

Lala’s morning had been a perfect dream—filled with warmth, love, and care. In Thuy’s hands, every moment had been thoughtfully planned, like a royal routine. From her first yawn to her last sleepy sigh, Lala had felt nothing but happiness.
Because in this quiet corner of the world, one little monkey was more than just a pet—she was treasured like royalty, and loved like a daughter.
And that made all the difference.
