It was a bright and sunny morning on the little farm where Lala lived. Birds chirped in the trees, the wind gently swayed the flowers, and everything felt peaceful. Lala, the adorable baby monkey, was still snuggled in her blanket, fast asleep in her cozy bed near the farmer’s house. She had no idea that today would be unlike any other.
Cutis, the kind-hearted farmer who had raised Lala since she was just a tiny baby, tiptoed around the house with a huge grin on his face. He had planned a surprise for Lala—a brand new swimming pool just for her! He knew how much she loved splashing in water, playing with floating toys, and soaking up the sunshine. After watching her play in buckets and puddles all year, he decided it was time to give her something really special.
The pool had arrived early in the morning, delivered in big boxes by a cheerful driver. Cutis worked quickly to set it up behind the house. He carefully filled it with clean, cool water and added colorful toys, soft floaties, and even a little slide. He placed leafy green plants around the pool to make it feel like a jungle—just the way Lala liked it.
By the time the pool was ready, Lala had woken up and stretched her tiny arms. She yawned and rubbed her eyes, not suspecting anything unusual. As she stepped outside with her usual morning bounce, she noticed Farmer Cutis standing in the yard, waving her over with excitement.

“Come here, Lala! I have a surprise for you!” he called out.
Lala’s eyes widened. Her tail swished with curiosity as she scampered over. Cutis led her around the side of the house, and there it was—a big, sparkling pool glistening in the sunlight. Lala froze in place, her mouth wide open. She blinked once. Twice. And then—squealed with joy!
“Aaaaaah! Oooh oooh!” she chirped, jumping up and down.
She ran in circles, clapped her hands, and hugged Cutis tightly. Then she raced to the edge of the pool and dipped her tiny fingers in. The water was cool and perfect. She looked back at Cutis with shining eyes, as if asking, “Is this really for me?”
“Yes, sweetheart,” Cutis said with a chuckle. “This is all for you. You deserve it!”
Without wasting another second, Lala dove in—splash! Water flew everywhere as she paddled across the pool, giggling and splashing. She floated on her back, kicked her feet in the water, and tried the mini-slide. Every few minutes, she let out joyful monkey sounds that echoed across the farm.
Cutis sat back in a chair, watching her with a warm smile. He had seen Lala grow from a tiny, shy baby into a brave, curious little monkey. She had come into his life by chance, but now she was family. Seeing her this happy made all the hard work worth it.
Later that afternoon, Lala invited her animal friends to come and play. Bella the baby goat, Tiki the duckling, and even Max the shy little piglet came over to see what the excitement was all about. Lala proudly showed them the pool and helped each of them get comfortable in the water. Even Max, who was nervous at first, ended up splashing and laughing with the others.
“Whee!” shouted Bella as she slid down the slide.
Tiki floated on a pool noodle, happily quacking.
The farmyard echoed with laughter, splashes, and the sweet sound of animals enjoying a perfect summer day.

After hours of fun, the sun began to set, painting the sky in soft shades of pink and orange. Lala climbed out of the pool and wrapped herself in a soft towel that Cutis had prepared. She sat beside him, her fur damp but her heart full.
“Did you like your surprise, Lala?” Cutis asked gently.
Lala nodded, snuggling into his lap. “Oooh! Oooh!” she whispered, pointing at the pool with sleepy eyes.
Cutis chuckled. “I’m glad. You deserve all the happiness in the world, little one.”
That night, Lala fell asleep faster than ever, her dreams filled with floating toys, happy splashes, and sunny skies. From that day on, the swimming pool became her favorite place. She played there every day, sometimes alone and sometimes with friends, always full of joy and laughter.
Word spread around the village about the happy little monkey with her very own pool. Children from nearby farms came to visit, bringing fruits and toys. They watched in amazement as Lala did somersaults in the water, shared her toys kindly, and even taught them how to float.
She became known not just as the lucky monkey with a swimming pool, but as the generous and playful friend who made everyone feel welcome. And Cutis? He was the proudest farmer around, thankful every day for the little monkey who brought so much love and laughter into his life.
As summer turned into autumn, Lala still visited the pool, even as the days grew cooler. Cutis made sure it stayed clean and warm enough for her. They added soft lights around it, so they could swim during golden sunsets or even under the stars. The pool wasn’t just a place to play—it was a symbol of joy, love, and the beautiful bond between a farmer and his monkey.
And so, Lala’s surprise became a lasting treasure—one that brought happiness not just to her, but to everyone who knew her.
