Bibi had always been a cheerful little girl, full of energy and curiosity. She loved to run around the house, play in the garden, and ask endless questions about the world. But one chilly morning, she woke up feeling different. Her head felt heavy, her throat was sore, and she didn’t have the energy to jump out of bed like she usually did.
Her father, Mr. Lin, noticed right away. He placed his hand gently on her forehead and frowned. “Oh dear, Bibi, you’re running a fever,” he said softly.
Bibi pouted, feeling miserable. “I don’t like being sick, Daddy.”
Mr. Lin smiled reassuringly. “Don’t worry, sweetheart. Daddy will take care of you.”

A Day of Rest and Care
Bibi was tucked under her warm blankets while her dad brought her a cup of warm honey tea. “This will help soothe your throat,” he said, sitting beside her.
She took small sips and sighed. “It tastes sweet.”
“That’s because honey is nature’s medicine,” he said, winking. “And I added a little ginger to help you get better faster.”
Bibi made a funny face at the mention of ginger, but she drank it anyway, trusting her dad’s care.
To make her feel better, Mr. Lin sat by her bed and read her favorite fairy tale. His deep, calming voice made the story come to life, and soon, Bibi was lost in a world of princesses, castles, and magical creatures.
A Nutritious Meal
By lunchtime, Mr. Lin knew Bibi needed something healthy to regain her strength. He went to the kitchen and prepared a bowl of warm chicken porridge, just like his own mother used to make when he was a child.
He carried the steaming bowl to her room and gently helped her sit up. “Here comes the magic porridge. It’s filled with love and care!”
Bibi giggled weakly. “Will it make me feel better?”
“Absolutely,” he said, feeding her small spoonfuls. The warmth of the porridge spread through her body, making her feel cozy and loved.

Extra Comfort
After lunch, Bibi felt sleepy. Mr. Lin fluffed her pillows and tucked her in securely. “Would you like me to play some soft music to help you nap?”
Bibi nodded, and soon, gentle lullabies filled the room. Her father sat by her side, stroking her hair until her eyes fluttered shut.
When she woke up later, she found a small surprise on her bedside table—her favorite stuffed bunny along with a handwritten note from her dad:
“Get well soon, my little sunshine. Daddy loves you!”
Bibi hugged the note close to her heart, feeling safe and cherished.

Getting Better
By evening, Bibi was feeling a little better. Her fever had gone down, and she had more energy to talk and smile. Mr. Lin clapped his hands. “That’s my strong girl!”
“Thank you for taking care of me, Daddy,” Bibi said, hugging him tightly.
“Always, my love,” he whispered, kissing the top of her head.
That night, as she drifted off to sleep, Bibi realized that no matter what, she would always have the most special care from her dad. And that made her feel better than any medicine ever could.

A Bond That Grows Stronger
Over the next few days, Bibi gradually regained her strength. Her father continued to care for her, making sure she drank plenty of fluids, ate nutritious meals, and got enough rest. Each morning, he would check her temperature and encourage her with gentle words.
One afternoon, as Bibi sat up in bed, she watched her dad carefully folding her blankets. “Daddy, why do you take care of me so much?” she asked curiously.
Mr. Lin smiled and sat beside her. “Because I love you, Bibi. When you love someone, you want to make sure they are happy and healthy.”
Bibi tilted her head. “But who takes care of you when you’re sick?”
Her father chuckled. “Well, sometimes Grandma used to take care of me. But now, I’m the one taking care of you.”
Bibi thought for a moment, then reached out and held his hand. “When I get better, I’ll take care of you too, Daddy. I’ll make you porridge and read you stories.”
Mr. Lin’s heart swelled with pride. “That means so much to me, sweetheart.”

Back to Playfulness
A few days later, Bibi finally felt well enough to get out of bed. Her energy had returned, and she was back to her playful self. Mr. Lin smiled as he watched her run around the house, giggling and playing with her toys.
“Looks like my little sunshine is back,” he said, picking her up and spinning her around.
Bibi laughed joyfully. “Yes! And I feel much better now, thanks to you, Daddy.”
That evening, they celebrated with a simple but special dinner. Bibi helped her dad in the kitchen, stirring the soup while he chopped vegetables. It was her way of saying thank you for all the love and care he had given her.
As they sat down to eat, Bibi reached for her father’s hand. “Daddy, you’re the best. I love you.”
Mr. Lin squeezed her hand gently. “And I love you more than anything, my little sunshine.”
Bibi beamed, knowing that no matter what, she would always have the most special care from her dad. And that made her the happiest girl in the world.
