Hey guys! Welcome back to another adventure—this time, we took on the breathtaking state of Colorado! From insane mountain hikes to the most delicious food, we did it all. You won’t believe some of the crazy moments we experienced on this trip! 😭😭

Day 1: Touchdown in Denver! ✈️
The trip started with us landing in Denver, the Mile High City. The moment we stepped off the plane, we were hit with crisp, fresh air and stunning mountain views in the distance. First things first—FOOD! We grabbed brunch at a local favorite, Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, and let me tell you, their pancakes were out of this world. 🤤
After fueling up, we explored downtown Denver. The city had such a cool mix of modern skyscrapers and historic buildings. We checked out Union Station, a beautiful train station-turned-hangout spot with shops, coffee spots, and restaurants. Then, we headed to the Denver Art Museum, which had some of the most amazing contemporary art pieces we’ve ever seen!

Day 2: Red Rocks & Rocky Mountain National Park 🏔️
You guys… Red Rocks Amphitheatre is even more incredible in person. The rock formations looked like something out of a movie! We hiked one of the nearby trails and got a crazy view of the entire amphitheater from the top. Seeing it during the day was amazing, but now we NEED to come back for a concert here.
Next, we drove up to Rocky Mountain National Park, and this is where things got WILD. We thought we were just going on a casual scenic drive, but we ended up on Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved road in the U.S.! At over 12,000 feet, the air was thin, and it felt like we were on top of the world. We even spotted some elk just casually chilling by the road. 🦌
Day 3: The Most Insane Hike of Our Lives 😱
Alright, guys. We knew we had to do an epic hike, so we chose Sky Pond—and oh. my. gosh. It was one of the hardest but most rewarding hikes EVER! The 9-mile round trip took us through forests, past waterfalls, and up a CRAZY rock scramble. At one point, we had to climb up a waterfall—like, literally UP a waterfall! 😭 But reaching Sky Pond at the top was unreal. The lake was surrounded by jagged peaks, and the water was so clear it looked like glass. 100% worth every drop of sweat.

Day 4: Adventure Sports & A Little Too Much Spice 🌶️
After all that hiking, we decided to switch things up with some adventure sports. We went whitewater rafting on the Arkansas River, and it was SO intense. The rapids were no joke—we got absolutely soaked, and at one point, we almost fell out of the raft! But the adrenaline rush was next level.
For dinner, we made a mistake… a BIG mistake. We tried Rocky Mountain Oysters without realizing what they actually were. If you don’t know, let’s just say they’re NOT seafood. (Google it if you dare! 😅) Our reactions were priceless—definitely a moment we won’t forget!
Day 5: Garden of the Gods & The Royal Gorge 🤯
On our last full day, we drove down to Colorado Springs to check out Garden of the Gods. The red rock formations were MASSIVE, and the way they contrasted against the blue sky was stunning. We even tried rock climbing on some of the smaller formations (don’t worry, we had an instructor)!
The final stop of the trip? The Royal Gorge Bridge. This bridge is one of the highest suspension bridges in the world, and walking across it was both terrifying and amazing. The views down into the canyon were insane. To top it all off, we did the Royal Rush Skycoaster, which basically swings you out OVER the canyon. One of the scariest things we’ve ever done, but SO worth it!

Final Thoughts: Best Trip Ever? 🤩
Colorado completely blew us away. The landscapes, the adventures, the food (minus the Rocky Mountain Oysters)… it was honestly one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. If you guys have never been, GO. Trust us, you won’t regret it!
