The golden rays of dawn slipped through the dense jungle leaves, casting a warm glow on the treetops. Birds were chirping, frogs croaked in the distance, and somewhere between two tall fig trees, CUTIS the monkey was already up to his usual morning mischief. He was cheerful, clever, and endlessly curious — a little too curious, some might say.
Beside him, still rubbing sleep from his eyes, sat Baby Monkey, CUTIS’s little brother. His fur was messy, his face still half buried in a mango peel from breakfast, and his mood was… well, let’s just say not as bright as the morning sun.
CUTIS grinned, poking his brother’s cheek. “Wake up, sleepyhead! Today’s going to be fun!”
Baby Monkey groaned. “Fun? Or another one of your spicy surprises?”
CUTIS burst into laughter, remembering yesterday’s incident. “Okay, deal. No more spicy surprises!” he said with a wide grin, raising his right hand like he was making a royal promise.
Baby Monkey eyed him suspiciously. “You always say that. Then somehow I end up with my tongue on fire.”
CUTIS chuckled, wrapping an arm around his brother’s shoulders. “Trust me this time! Today, no tricks. Just fun. Pure, honest fun.”
And so, with the best of intentions (or so CUTIS claimed), their new day began — though in the jungle, with CUTIS around, “fun” always meant something unexpected.
🍌 A Peaceful Beginning — Almost
The brothers decided to go fruit picking near the riverbank. The trees there were famous for their juicy bananas — golden, soft, and sweet. The perfect breakfast.
CUTIS climbed up the tallest tree and began tossing ripe bananas down to Baby Monkey, who caught them eagerly. “Careful!” Baby Monkey shouted as one banana nearly hit him in the face.
“Oops! My bad!” CUTIS giggled, throwing another one — this time intentionally a bit too high.
Baby Monkey jumped and missed, falling backward into a pile of leaves. “CUTIS!” he whined, banana peel on his head.
CUTIS was laughing so hard he almost fell out of the tree. “You look like Banana King now!”
Baby Monkey crossed his arms, pretending to pout, though even he couldn’t stop a small giggle from escaping. “Okay, Banana King forgives you,” he said with mock seriousness. “But if you trick me again, I’ll make you eat a pepper fruit yourself!”
CUTIS smirked. “Deal… but you’ll have to catch me first!”
And just like that, the peaceful morning turned into a wild chase around the banana grove.
💦 River Adventure

After tiring themselves out, the two monkeys decided to cool off at the river. The water was calm, the air fresh, and dragonflies zipped gracefully above the surface.
“Let’s see who can skip stones the farthest!” CUTIS suggested.
Baby Monkey nodded excitedly, picking a small round pebble. He threw it, and it bounced twice across the surface before sinking.
CUTIS picked a flat stone and, with a little smirk, flicked it with perfect aim. Plip… plip… plip… plop! — it skipped four times before vanishing.
“Ha! Beat that!” CUTIS said proudly.
Baby Monkey clapped his little hands. “You’re too good at this!”
CUTIS bowed playfully. “Thank you, thank you — champion of the river, that’s me!”
Then, while CUTIS was showing off his skipping technique, Baby Monkey quietly scooped up a handful of water and splash! — threw it straight at CUTIS’s face.
CUTIS blinked, dripping wet, and burst into laughter. “So that’s how you play, huh?”
Soon, both of them were splashing water everywhere, laughing uncontrollably. The parrots in the trees squawked in confusion, and even a lazy crocodile downstream peeked its head out, wondering what the commotion was.
By the end of it, the brothers were soaked but smiling. “Now this,” Baby Monkey said, “is real fun — no spice included!”
CUTIS nodded, laughing. “You see? I can behave!”
But the day was still young… and CUTIS’s imagination was endless.
🥭 The Mystery of the Missing Mango

After drying off, they decided to visit Uncle Tu — the wise old monkey who always had the best fruit stash. Uncle Tu welcomed them warmly. “Ah, my favorite nephews! Come, come — I’ve got ripe mangoes today!”
Baby Monkey’s eyes sparkled. “Mangoes!” he squealed.
CUTIS’s stomach rumbled. “You’re the best, Uncle Tu!”
Uncle Tu gave them a big bowl of sliced mangoes, then went off to gather more fruit from the other side of the treehouse. CUTIS and Baby Monkey sat happily munching away.
But then, something strange happened — one of the mango slices suddenly moved.
“CUTIS… did you see that?” Baby Monkey whispered.
CUTIS blinked. “See what?”
“The mango! It wiggled!”
CUTIS frowned. “Mangoes don’t wiggle, silly.”
Then it happened again — the slice jiggled slightly before… crawling!
Baby Monkey screamed. “AAAHH! It’s alive!”
CUTIS jumped back, eyes wide — and then burst into laughter. “Oh! It’s not alive! Look!”
A tiny caterpillar peeked out from under the mango slice, looking just as startled as the monkeys.
CUTIS laughed until tears came out. “Oh my goodness! I thought it was a haunted mango!”
Baby Monkey clutched his chest, breathing hard. “Don’t ever scare me like that again!”
CUTIS grinned mischievously. “But I didn’t do anything! It was the mango monster!”
“CUTIS!” Baby Monkey whined, but even he couldn’t hold back his laughter. The two giggled until Uncle Tu returned, shaking his head.
“You two always bring chaos wherever you go,” he said, chuckling.
CUTIS bowed. “We call it adventure!”
🐜 The Great Picnic Panic

By afternoon, the brothers decided to have a picnic near their favorite spot — the old tree stump surrounded by wildflowers. They laid out banana leaves and placed fruits neatly on top.
“Perfect!” CUTIS said proudly. “A peaceful picnic for once.”
Baby Monkey smiled. “No pranks?”
“No pranks,” CUTIS promised. “We’ll just relax.”
They sat and began eating. Everything was quiet… until Baby Monkey froze mid-bite.
“CUTIS…” he said slowly.
“Yeah?”
“I think something’s moving under the leaf.”
CUTIS rolled his eyes. “Not again. You’re seeing things.”
But then he lifted the leaf — and an army of tiny red ants marched out, carrying bits of banana!
Both monkeys jumped up, screaming and laughing at the same time. “ANTS! They’re stealing our lunch!” Baby Monkey cried.
CUTIS waved his arms wildly. “Retreat! Retreat!”
The two ran in circles, shaking off ants, while their fruit rolled down the hill. CUTIS couldn’t stop laughing even as they climbed a branch to escape. “Okay, maybe that wasn’t spicy, but it was still a surprise!”
Baby Monkey pouted. “So much for a calm picnic…”
CUTIS grinned. “Next time, we’ll sit higher in the trees.”
🌙 A Promise Under the Stars
As night fell, the jungle grew quiet. Crickets sang softly, and fireflies floated like tiny stars around the treetops. CUTIS and Baby Monkey sat side by side on a high branch, their bellies full and hearts happy after a long, funny day.
CUTIS looked up at the glowing moon. “You know, even when things get messy, it’s always fun when we’re together.”
Baby Monkey nodded. “Yeah… even if you make me scream half the time.”
CUTIS chuckled. “But you always end up laughing, don’t you?”
“Maybe…” Baby Monkey smiled shyly. “Because you’re my big brother.”
CUTIS reached over and patted his head gently. “And you’re my favorite little buddy.”
They sat in silence for a moment, watching the stars flicker. Then Baby Monkey whispered, “You’re not gonna prank me tomorrow, right?”
CUTIS laughed softly. “Okay, deal. No more spicy surprises.”
Baby Monkey yawned, resting his head on CUTIS’s shoulder. “Good. I like peaceful days too…”
CUTIS smiled, watching the fireflies swirl in the dark. “Maybe peaceful days can be funny, too — just a different kind of funny.”
As the jungle drifted to sleep, the two brothers stayed under the stars — warm, content, and closer than ever. Because at the end of every day, no matter how many spicy surprises or funny shocks came their way, laughter always brought them back together.
And that was the real magic of CUTIS and Baby Monkey — a bond made of mischief, giggles, and love that shone brighter than the moon itself. 🌙🐒💛
