It was one of those sunny afternoons on the peaceful little farm where everything seemed perfectâbirds singing, ducks waddling by the pond, and CUTIS, the clever and kind young man, sitting under the shade of a mango tree, enjoying his snack. He had a basket full of ripe bananas, a few mango slices, and some biscuits to enjoy with his tea.
But little did he know⌠someone had their eyes locked on that snack basket.
Up in the nearby tree, a pair of curious brown eyes sparkled mischievously. It was none other than the farmâs most playful troublemakerâMiko, the baby monkey! Small, fluffy, and full of energy, Miko was famous for two things: his charm and his unstoppable appetite. Especially when it came to bananas.
Miko licked his lips, rubbing his tiny hands together. âHehehe⌠CUTIS wonât miss one banana, right?â he whispered to himself. But deep down, he knew this was never going to end with just one banana.
đ The Plan
CUTIS was relaxing, completely unaware that a tiny monkey brain was hatching a âbrilliantâ plan above his head.
Miko crouched low on the branch, peeking down. He spotted the golden bananas gleaming in the sunlight like treasure. âEasy job,â he muttered. âJust grab and run!â
But he needed a distraction first. Thatâs when he spotted the ducks nearby. Perfect!
Miko climbed down silently, picked up a small stick, and tossed it toward the ducks. They quacked and flapped everywhere, causing a commotion. CUTIS looked over, laughing. âWhatâs going on over there? Ducks having a party again?â
While CUTIS was distracted, Miko made his move.
He tiptoed closerâquiet as a whisper. One hand on the ground, one eye on the prize. He reached the basket, his heart pounding with excitement. âAlmost⌠got itâŚâ he whispered.
He stretched out his little hand, grabbed a bananaâsuccess! He held it close like it was a golden trophy. But just as he turned to runâCRACK!âhe stepped on a dry twig.
CUTIS turned around instantly. âMiko!â
The little thief froze mid-step, banana in hand, eyes wide open. For two seconds, they just stared at each other in silence. Then Miko gave an awkward grinâand bolted!
đ The Great Escape

âHEY! Get back here, you little banana bandit!â CUTIS shouted, jumping up and chasing after him.
Miko leapt from the ground to the fence, banana clutched in his mouth like a pirateâs treasure. CUTIS ran after him, laughing but determined to catch him this time. âYou think you can steal from me, huh?â
The chase was on!
Miko darted through the garden, jumped over the ducks (who were still confused), and ran toward the goat pen. The goats bleated in surprise as he used one of them as a springboard to jump higher. CUTIS followed, dodging goat horns and duck feathers flying everywhere.
âStop, you banana thief!â
Miko squeaked, âNever!â though it came out as monkey chatter. He was having the time of his life.
But trouble was waiting ahead.
đĽ The Fall
Miko climbed up the barnâs wooden roof, thinking he was safe. He waved the banana proudly in the air like a victory flag. âHa! CUTIS canât reach me here!â
CUTIS stood below, hands on his hips. âOkay, little guy, letâs see how long that lasts.â
He pretended to walk away. Miko laughed, thinking he had won. But thenâCUTIS grabbed a broom, reached up, and tickled Mikoâs foot with it.
âEEEEK! Hahaha! Stop!â Miko squealed, losing his balance. The banana slipped from his hand, flying through the air in slow motion like in an action movie. CUTIS reached out to catch itâbut missed. The banana hit the barn wall, bounced off, and landed splat right on CUTISâs head.
For a moment, silence. Then Miko burst out laughing so hard he almost fell off the roof again. CUTIS stood there with banana mush dripping from his hair. âOh, you think thatâs funny, huh?â he said, trying not to laugh himself.
Miko nodded, giggling uncontrollably.
Then, karma struck. The roof tile Miko was standing on shifted under his feetâand CRASH! Down he went, landing softly into a pile of hay.
CUTIS rushed over. âMiko! You okay?â
The hay rustled, and out popped the little monkeyâs head, straw sticking out in every direction like messy hair. He gave a dizzy smile and said, âStill⌠hungry.â
CUTIS couldnât hold it in anymoreâhe laughed so hard that his stomach hurt. âYouâre unbelievable!â
đ Trouble Times Two
Just when CUTIS thought the chaos was over, the goat decided to join the fun. While CUTIS helped Miko up, the goat wandered over and sniffed the snack basket that was still on the ground.
Before anyone noticed, the goat started munching on CUTISâs biscuits and even tried to eat the basket itself!
âHEY! Not you too!â CUTIS yelled, running over. The goat gave him a blank look, mouth full of crumbs.
Meanwhile, Miko had somehow found another bananaâdonât ask howâand was now sitting on CUTISâs shoulder, happily munching it.
CUTIS turned to him. âYou just fell from the roof, and youâre stealing again?!â
Miko smiled innocently. âBanana make pain go away!â
CUTIS couldnât stop laughing. âFine! But next time, ask, okay?â
Miko nodded⌠but everyone knew heâd forget that promise the moment another banana appeared.
đ The Peaceful Ending (Sort Of)

After cleaning up the mess, CUTIS and Miko sat by the pond to relax. The ducks waddled close, curious as always, and the goat stood nearby still chewing on something that definitely wasnât food.
CUTIS handed Miko half a banana. âAlright, you win. But from now on, we share. No more sneaky thefts, deal?â
Miko grinned. âDeal!â
But then he quickly added, âUnless you turn your back again!â
CUTIS gave him a playful flick on the forehead. âYou little rascal!â
They both burst into laughter, echoing through the quiet farm.
A few minutes later, Miko tried to reach for another banana when CUTIS wasnât lookingâbut this time, karma struck immediately. A tiny frog jumped onto his tail!
Miko screamed, jumped into CUTISâs lap, and dropped the banana right into the pond.
CUTIS couldnât breathe from laughing. âMiko! The mighty thief, defeated by a frog!â
Miko pouted, pointing at the frog. âThat frog evil!â
CUTIS hugged him, still laughing. âNo, buddy. That frog just taught you a lesson!â
đ The Moral of the Monkey
As the sun set and the sky turned orange, CUTIS and Miko sat watching the ripples in the pond. CUTIS said softly, âYou know, Miko, being clever is good⌠but sometimes, honesty is even better.â
Miko looked at him thoughtfully. âSo⌠next time, I ask before stealing snack?â
CUTIS smiled. âExactly.â
Then Miko tilted his head. âBut if you say no?â
CUTIS sighed, laughing again. âThen you wait. Or you help me make more snacks.â
Miko nodded slowly. âOkay⌠but maybe I just borrow banana instead.â
CUTIS groaned. âBorrow? That means you give it back later!â
Miko smirked. âMaybe⌠after I eat it!â
They both burst into laughter again, rolling on the grass, tears in their eyes.
And so, another day ended with the same chaos and the same love. On that little farm, laughter always followed wherever Miko went. Because no matter how many times he got into trouble, his silly grin and innocent heart always made everything right again.
From that day on, whenever CUTIS saw Miko sneaking around the kitchen or eyeing the fruit basket, heâd just say, âRemember last time?â
And Miko would giggle, rubbing his belly, and reply, âYes⌠banana went splat!â
