Oh no, the dog is teasing the baby monkey.

In the warm sunlight of a peaceful morning, the backyard was alive with energy. Birds chirped from the mango tree, and the smell of blooming flowers filled the air. Everything seemed calm—until the playful barking of a dog broke the silence. It was Lucky, the family’s cheerful golden dog, and he had spotted his favorite little friend, the baby monkey named Lulu.

Lulu was sitting on a tiny stool, munching on a banana with both hands, his eyes bright with contentment. But Lucky had other plans. With his tail wagging and a mischievous sparkle in his eyes, the dog decided to play a trick on his small companion.

He crept closer, his paws silent against the grass. Lulu didn’t notice—he was too busy peeling his banana slowly, savoring every bite. Suddenly, Lucky gave a playful bark, “Woof!” so loud that Lulu jumped up in surprise, the banana flying right out of his hands.

“Oh no!” Lulu squeaked, watching his precious banana roll across the yard. Lucky dashed over and snatched it up in his mouth, wagging his tail proudly. He didn’t want to eat it—he just wanted to tease!

Lulu crossed his little arms and pouted. “Lucky! That’s mine!” he cried, stamping his tiny feet. But Lucky only barked again and ran in circles, showing off his new ‘banana toy.’ Every time Lulu tried to catch him, Lucky darted away, tongue hanging out, clearly enjoying the game.

The scene was both funny and adorable. Lulu chased Lucky all around the garden—around the flowers, under the table, and even behind the big water jar. The more frustrated Lulu became, the happier Lucky looked. His fluffy tail wagged so fast it was a blur.

Finally, Lulu stopped running and sat on the ground, pretending to cry. He covered his eyes with his little hands and whimpered softly. Lucky froze. He tilted his head, confused. “Wait… did I go too far?” his expression seemed to say.

He slowly walked closer, dropping the banana in front of Lulu. The monkey peeked through his fingers, watching the dog carefully. When Lucky gently nudged the banana toward him, Lulu’s eyes twinkled—he realized he had a chance to turn the tables.

Suddenly, Lulu grabbed the banana and leaped up onto a low branch. “Haha! Got it back!” he shouted proudly. Lucky barked in surprise and ran around the tree, trying to figure out how to reach him. Lulu sat safely above, taking a big bite and grinning down at his teasing friend.

But Lulu didn’t stop there. Oh no—he decided to tease back. He waved the half-eaten banana at Lucky, making funny faces. “You want it? Too bad!” he said playfully, his voice full of mischief.

Lucky barked excitedly and jumped, his paws almost reaching the branch. Lulu laughed so hard that he nearly dropped the banana again. This time, Lucky wagged his tail even more, clearly happy to have the game continue.

From the porch, their owner, Grandma Lan, was watching the entire scene with a smile. “You two are like little kids,” she chuckled. “Always finding ways to make trouble together.”

She walked over with a small bowl of treats—some for Lucky, some for Lulu. “Alright, you little rascals, come here. Let’s share properly.”

At her gentle voice, both the dog and monkey turned and hurried toward her. Lulu slid down the tree trunk, clutching his banana, while Lucky trotted behind, his tongue out and tail wagging. Grandma Lan knelt down and offered each of them a snack.

Lucky got his favorite crunchy biscuit, while Lulu received a slice of sweet mango. They both sat side by side, munching happily. Lulu even broke off a small piece of his mango and offered it to Lucky, who accepted it gently, licking Lulu’s hand as thanks.

“See?” Grandma Lan said warmly. “It’s better to share than to tease.”

But of course, peace didn’t last long. After finishing their treats, Lucky decided to lie down in the shade, resting his head on his paws. Lulu, however, wasn’t done playing. He tiptoed over and tugged on Lucky’s tail.

Lucky opened one eye, pretending not to notice. Lulu tugged again. The dog sighed, rolled over, and then suddenly jumped up—“Woof!”—scaring Lulu once more. The little monkey squeaked and ran away, hiding behind a basket.

“Oh no, not again!” Grandma Lan laughed, shaking her head.

But this time, Lucky didn’t chase him. Instead, he brought over one of his squeaky toys—a small rubber bone—and dropped it near the basket. He barked softly, as if to say, “Let’s play together instead.”

Lulu peeked out cautiously. When he saw the toy, his fear turned into excitement. He grabbed the bone, squeaked it loudly, and ran. Lucky chased after him, but this time it was a friendly chase—one full of laughter, barking, and squeaking.

The two played for almost an hour, running around the yard, tumbling in the grass, and splashing water from the little pond. Lulu climbed the fence, Lucky waited below, and when Lulu jumped, Lucky caught him softly with his paws. Their friendship was pure joy.

As the sun began to set, the two tired friends lay side by side on the porch. Lulu rested his tiny head on Lucky’s back, feeling the warmth of his soft fur. Lucky gave a long, happy sigh, closing his eyes.

“Today was fun,” Lulu murmured sleepily.

“Woof,” Lucky replied softly, as if agreeing.

Grandma Lan came out again with a blanket. She covered the two friends and whispered, “Good night, my playful babies.”

The stars slowly appeared in the sky, and the peaceful sounds of the night returned. The once noisy yard was now calm again—except for the occasional soft snore from Lucky and the quiet breathing of the little monkey.

The next morning, Lulu woke up first. The air was cool, and the first rays of sunlight touched the garden. He looked at Lucky, still asleep, and smiled. Reaching out gently, Lulu patted Lucky’s head.

“You’re my best friend,” he whispered.

Lucky’s ear twitched, and he opened one eye. He wagged his tail and gave Lulu a friendly lick on the cheek. The little monkey giggled, and just like that—the teasing, the laughter, and the friendship started all over again.

Even though Lucky sometimes teased Lulu, and Lulu loved to prank him back, everyone knew that the two were inseparable. Their playful games filled the house with laughter every day, reminding everyone that love doesn’t need words—it just needs a wagging tail and a happy heart.

So, the next time you hear someone shout, “Oh no, the dog is teasing the baby monkey!”—don’t worry too much. Because behind the barking and the giggles, there’s always a story of friendship, fun, and a bond that’s too sweet to ever be broken. 🐶🐵❤️
