Hey everyone! Welcome back to Vlogmas Day 9! I can’t believe how quickly December is flying by. We’re already more than a week into Vlogmas, and the holiday spirit is in full swing! 🎄✨ Today was one of those well-balanced days where I got to do a bit of everything — starting with a killer quad workout, followed by some last-minute holiday shopping, and finally, settling in for a cozy night of gift wrapping. Let’s dive in!

🌟 Morning Motivation & Quad Workout
I woke up this morning with a serious case of the “let’s crush it” mood. You know when you just feel like moving your body and getting things done? That was the vibe. I made myself a quick protein smoothie — banana, almond milk, vanilla protein, and a spoonful of peanut butter. So good and energizing.
After that, I headed straight to the gym. It was leg day, and I decided to focus on quads — one of my favorite muscle groups to train. Here’s the workout I followed (in case anyone wants to try it!):
- Barbell Back Squats – 4 sets of 8 reps
- Leg Press Machine – 3 sets of 12 reps
- Bulgarian Split Squats – 3 sets of 10 reps per leg
- Walking Lunges – 3 sets of 20 steps
- Leg Extensions – 3 sets of 15 reps
- Wall Sit (Finisher) – Hold for 1 minute, rest 30 seconds, repeat 3x
Y’all… my legs were shaking by the end, but it felt so good! There’s something so satisfying about pushing yourself at the gym, especially during a season where it’s easy to fall off track. I always remind myself — December is for maintaining good habits, not pausing them.
Post-workout, I grabbed a matcha latte from my favorite local café (yes, I’m still on a matcha kick), and then headed home for a quick shower and outfit change.

🛍️ Holiday Shopping Spree
With my gym session out of the way, I was ready to tackle the next item on the to-do list: holiday shopping. I’m usually a decent planner, but I’ll admit — this year I left quite a few gifts for the last minute. So, I made a list, checked it twice (😉), and headed out.
My first stop was Target — the ultimate holiday wonderland. I picked up a few stocking stuffers: cozy socks, candles, mini skincare sets, and of course, some cute mugs with festive sayings like “Merry & Bright” and “Santa’s Favorite.” I also found a few adorable ornaments that I definitely didn’t need but couldn’t resist.
Next, I went to Bath & Body Works. The store smelled like cinnamon, peppermint, and vanilla heaven. I grabbed a few of their classic holiday-scented candles — “Winter Candy Apple,” “Fresh Balsam,” and “Vanilla Bean Noel.” Those are always a hit as gifts, and I may or may not have kept one for myself. (Self-gifting is a thing, right?)
Lastly, I swung by a local bookstore to pick up a few reads for the book lovers in my life. I love giving books as gifts — they feel so thoughtful and personal. I chose a cozy mystery, a bestselling memoir, and a gorgeous hardcover cookbook with beautiful photos.
It felt so good to cross things off my gift list. Plus, everything was decorated so festively — twinkling lights, garlands, and Christmas music playing in every store. It truly felt magical.

🎁 Cozy Night In: Gift Wrapping & Holiday Vibes
After a long but productive afternoon of shopping, I came home, changed into my comfiest Christmas pajamas, and lit a candle. Then it was time to wrap all the gifts I bought! I made myself a cup of hot cocoa, turned on a holiday movie (The Holiday, because it’s a classic), and got to work.
Let’s talk about wrapping supplies for a second. I’m one of those people who LOVES pretty gift wrapping. I had kraft paper, plaid ribbons, candy cane string, gold tags, and even some little sprigs of faux pine to tuck into the bows. It was Pinterest-worthy wrapping — or at least I tried!
Some wrapping tips I always use:
- Use double-sided tape for a cleaner look.
- Stick with a cohesive color palette (this year I did red, green, and gold).
- Add a personal touch with handwritten gift tags or a wax seal if you’re feeling extra fancy.
I wrapped everything while the movie played in the background, and it felt so peaceful. There’s something about the simple act of wrapping gifts that really makes it feel like Christmas is around the corner.
By the time I finished, the living room was full of beautifully wrapped presents ready to go under the tree. I felt super accomplished and cozy, and honestly, I wish every day could be like this.

✨ Wrapping Up Vlogmas Day 9
All in all, today was the perfect mix of productivity and holiday cheer. From sweating it out at the gym to indulging in a little festive shopping and winding down with gift wrapping, I feel like I checked all the boxes on my ideal Vlogmas day.
The best part? Days like this remind me to appreciate the small moments. A warm drink. A favorite movie. Picking out the perfect gift for someone you love. That’s what this season is all about — connection, thoughtfulness, and a little sparkle.
