Reaching the one-year milestone on YouTube is an exciting achievement, and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing community! Over the past year, we’ve received countless comments, messages, and assumptions about who we are, what we do behind the scenes, and how our journey has been. So today, we’re diving into your assumptions and setting the record straight!

Assumption #1: “You Always Knew You Wanted to Be YouTubers”
Believe it or not, we didn’t always plan on becoming YouTubers. This journey started as a fun side project—a way to share our experiences and passions with the world. At first, we weren’t sure if anyone would watch, but as our community grew, so did our love for creating content. One year later, here we are, fully immersed in this journey, and we couldn’t be happier!
Assumption #2: “You Have Everything Figured Out”
This one made us laugh! The truth is, we’re still learning every day. From understanding YouTube’s algorithm to improving our video editing skills, every step has been a learning experience. We’ve made mistakes, had tech failures, and even posted videos we weren’t 100% happy with. But that’s part of the process—growing, adapting, and getting better with each upload.

Assumption #3: “You Must Spend Hours Filming Each Video”
Yes and no! Some videos take longer than others, depending on the content. A casual sit-down Q&A might take an hour to film, whereas a vlog or challenge video can take an entire day (or more). Editing, on the other hand, is what takes the most time. We want every video to be engaging and well-crafted, so post-production can take several hours—or even days!
Assumption #4: “You Never Get Nervous on Camera”
Oh, we definitely do! In the beginning, we were super awkward in front of the camera. Talking to a lens felt unnatural, and we second-guessed everything we said. But over time, we got more comfortable, and now filming feels like second nature. That said, we still have moments where we get nervous—especially for live streams or big collabs!

Assumption #5: “You’re Making a Lot of Money from YouTube”
While we do earn some revenue from YouTube, it’s definitely not as much as people think! YouTube income depends on views, watch time, and ad revenue, which varies month to month. We also reinvest a lot of what we earn into better equipment, editing software, and content ideas. At this stage, we’re more focused on growing our channel and engaging with our audience rather than making big profits.
Assumption #6: “You Always Agree on Video Ideas”
Not at all! We’re both creative people with different ideas, so sometimes we have different visions for a video. There have been plenty of debates (and compromises) behind the scenes. But in the end, we always find a way to blend our ideas and create something we’re both proud of.

Assumption #7: “Your Lives Are Just as Fun as Your Videos”
We try to bring positive energy to our videos, but like everyone else, we have ups and downs. There are days when we’re exhausted, stressed, or just not feeling it. Social media only shows a small part of our lives, and while we love what we do, we also make sure to take breaks and prioritize our mental health.
Assumption #8: “You Have a Huge Team Helping You”
Nope, it’s just us! From brainstorming ideas to filming, editing, and managing social media, we do it all ourselves. It’s a lot of work, but we enjoy the creative freedom. Maybe one day we’ll have a team, but for now, we’re proud of what we’ve built on our own.

Assumption #9: “You Plan to Do YouTube Forever”
We’d love to keep making content for as long as possible, but we also know that the internet changes fast. While YouTube will always be a big part of our journey, we’re also open to exploring new opportunities—whether that’s expanding into different platforms, starting new projects, or growing our brand in other ways.
