Bibi was curious and explored the new tent installed on the car!

It was a warm and breezy morning when the family decided to surprise their golden monkey, Bibi, with something new. After weeks of planning and researching camping gear, Papa had finally installed a shiny new rooftop tent on top of the family SUV. It wasn’t just any tent—it was one of those fold-out rooftop tents made for adventure. To the humans, it was a cozy mobile room. But to Bibi? It looked like a strange, towering mystery perched high above the ground.

As soon as the car pulled into the driveway with the new tent gleaming in the sun, Bibi’s eyes widened with wonder. She hopped up on the fence, tilted her head, and let out a curious little chirp. What was that big green-and-gray box doing on top of her favorite car? And why did it have zippers and flaps like a giant banana peel?

“Let’s see how long it takes Bibi to investigate,” Mama chuckled.

They didn’t have to wait long.

Bibi leaped gracefully from the fence to a low tree branch and then scampered across the garage roof. With the agility only a monkey like her could manage, she leapt onto the roof of the SUV. She padded softly across the top of the car, sniffing the edges of the new tent. Her little fingers ran along the seams, curious about the new textures.

Then—zzzip!—she discovered the main zipper. Her eyes lit up. With a few tugs, she managed to open the flap just enough to poke her head inside.

What she saw made her gasp with excitement.

Inside the tent, there was a soft mattress, some fluffy sleeping bags, and even a little pillow shaped like a cloud. There were mesh windows with views of the sky and trees, and Bibi could smell the fresh scent of clean fabric and adventure.

Without hesitation, she wiggled inside.

From below, the family watched in amusement as the tent rustled and swayed. Bibi’s shadow moved across the fabric, pausing here and there as she poked at things and rearranged pillows. Then her little face appeared at the mesh window. She let out a delighted squeal and waved.

“It looks like Bibi’s claimed the tent,” said Lily, the youngest of the children, giggling. “She thinks it’s her new jungle treehouse!”

Inside the tent, Bibi was in heaven. She rolled around in the blankets, sniffed every corner, and even found a flashlight the family had left inside. Curious, she clicked the button—click!—and the beam of light shot across the tent, making her jump. Then she laughed and clicked it again. And again.

After a while, she curled up in the coziest corner, resting her chin on the soft cloud pillow. From the window, she could see the tops of trees swaying gently in the breeze, and birds gliding through the sky. For Bibi, who loved to climb and explore, this was the best spot in the world.

Later that afternoon, the family decided to officially introduce Bibi to camping. They brought out snacks, blankets, and their camping gear. Mama made hot cocoa on a small portable stove, and Papa unfolded camping chairs around a makeshift fire pit. Lily and her older brother Max set up a string of fairy lights around the tent, making the car look like a magical camper straight out of a fairy tale.

Bibi, still in the tent, watched all the activity with bright eyes. When Papa climbed the ladder to check on her, she gently patted his head and offered him the flashlight like a gift.

“Thank you, Bibi,” he laughed. “You’re such a thoughtful explorer.”

That night, instead of sleeping inside the house, the whole family decided to camp in the driveway. Mama and Papa stayed in the back of the SUV, Max and Lily took the ground tent nearby, and Bibi? Well, she insisted on sleeping in the rooftop tent all by herself.

They tucked her in with her favorite soft toy, a little plush banana, and zipped the tent flap closed—just enough so she wouldn’t be cold, but still able to peek outside. She chirped softly, content and proud of her discovery.

As the stars twinkled overhead and the crickets chirped in the distance, Bibi curled up in her cozy perch, high above the ground. She had explored the mysterious tent, claimed it as her own, and even shared it with her family.

And in her dreams that night, Bibi flew through the sky in her rooftop tent like a flying house, soaring over forests and rivers, waving to owls and bats and stars along the way.

The next morning, the sun rose gently over the neighborhood. Bibi was the first to wake up. She stretched, yawned, and peeked out the window, basking in the golden light. Then, with practiced ease, she climbed down the ladder, gave a soft knock on Lily’s tent, and scampered off to find breakfast.

From that day on, the rooftop tent became Bibi’s favorite place. Whenever the car was parked, she’d climb up, unzip the flap, and lounge inside like a queen. Sometimes she invited Lily to join her for tea parties or banana snacks. Other times, she’d nap quietly, wrapped in a blanket, dreaming of the next great adventure.

And whenever the family went camping in the forest, by a lake, or under the stars, Bibi was always the first one in the tent—curious, excited, and ready to explore.

Because once upon a time, a monkey named Bibi saw something strange on top of a car… and her curiosity turned it into a magical little world all her own.
