GYMSHARK LIFT NYC VLOG – Spend a Week in New York with Me

Hey everyone! Welcome back to my channel/blog – today, I’ve got something special for you. I just got back from an unforgettable week in the city that never sleeps: New York City, and I’m taking you with me in this GYMSHARK LIFT NYC vlog. From exclusive Gymshark events to food adventures and sweaty gym sessions, here’s the full behind-the-scenes look at my time in NYC. Buckle up – this was one for the books!

Day 1: Touchdown in NYC ✈️

After a super early flight and a couple of hours catching up on podcasts, I landed at JFK feeling equal parts exhausted and excited. There’s something about that first breath of New York air – it smells like energy, ambition, and pretzels (seriously).

I headed straight to the hotel in SoHo, one of my favorite neighborhoods. Gymshark had booked us a sleek, modern place with big windows and a killer view of the skyline. I dropped my bags and hit the street for a walk before meeting the team. Even jetlagged, I couldn’t resist the call of a New York bagel.

Later that evening, we had a welcome dinner with the Gymshark athlete crew – influencers, lifters, creators, and a few familiar faces from the community. It felt surreal being in the same room with people I’ve looked up to for years.

Day 2: Gymshark LIFT NYC – Let’s Go! 🏋️‍♀️

The next morning, it was time to get down to business. The Gymshark LIFT NYC event was set in a massive, industrial-style space in Brooklyn. Think exposed brick, chalk dust in the air, and music vibrating through your chest.

There were squat racks and deadlift platforms as far as the eye could see. I filmed a bunch of content here – from warming up, trying out some new PRs, and doing quick interviews with other athletes.

Honestly, the energy was next level. You could feel the support in every cheer and high five. No egos, just a shared love for lifting and pushing our limits.

I also got to meet some of YOU – people who follow my fitness journey, ask for workout tips, or just say “Hey, your reel motivated me today.” Those moments? They mean everything.

Day 3: Recovery and Central Park Stroll 🌳

After the heavy lifting came the soreness – no surprise there. I took the morning slow with a protein smoothie from a little spot near the hotel, then headed to Central Park for some light movement and mental recharge.

It was one of those crisp spring mornings where the city feels calm, like it’s pausing to stretch with you. I walked, journaled, and even did a few yoga flows on the grass (yes, I got a few weird looks, but that’s New York for you).

That night, we went to a rooftop party Gymshark hosted – think skyline views, healthy eats, and vibey music. It wasn’t about clout or brand deals – just community. We talked lifting, recovery, life, and how far this fitness journey has taken us.

Day 4: Content Day + Gym Hop 🎥💪

Today was all about content creation. Gymshark had arranged access to several gyms across the city for us to shoot in. We started at Dogpound, a well-known spot for its aesthetic and elite-level training.

We filmed workouts, gear try-ons, and a Q&A where I answered your questions about balancing life, fitness, and mental health. Spoiler alert: it’s not always easy, but it’s worth it.

I also got to test out some upcoming Gymshark releases – let me tell you, the new Seamless line? Absolute fire. Light, breathable, and hugs in all the right places.

By evening, I was beat. We grabbed dinner in the East Village – grilled salmon, sweet potato fries, and a surprise protein ice cream that I’m still dreaming about.

Day 5: Exploring NYC – Because Balance 🗽🍕

Halfway through the week, I gave myself permission to be a tourist. I hopped on the subway (yes, solo!) and headed down to the 9/11 Memorial, which was both moving and grounding.

Then I walked through Wall Street, grabbed a classic slice of NY pizza, and eventually made my way to the High Line, a gorgeous elevated park that gives you a unique view of the city.

No gym today. No strict macros. Just movement, adventure, and soaking up the city’s soul. I always say fitness is a lifestyle – and part of that is letting yourself live.

Day 6: Lifting with Locals 🏋️‍♂️

Back to the grind – I linked up with a few local lifters I connected with online. We hit up Project by Equinox, where we ran a brutal leg day together (shoutout to Mike for making me almost cry with those Bulgarian split squats).

There’s something so powerful about connecting with people who speak your language – not just English, but fitness. We shared tips, encouraged each other, and bonded over sore hamstrings.

The Gymshark crew came through later for a quick shoot. Everyone was tired, but we rallied – that’s the athlete mindset. Finish strong, even when your legs feel like jelly.

Day 7: Reflection and Goodbye 💭✌️

The final day came way too fast. I woke up early, grabbed a coffee, and just… sat. No camera. No schedule. Just reflection.

This trip reminded me why I started. Fitness isn’t just about muscles and macros – it’s about connection, growth, and community. Whether it’s a massive Gymshark event or a walk in Central Park, it’s the people that make it meaningful.

Before leaving, I recorded a short goodbye vlog in Times Square (because how could I not?). The lights, the chaos, the energy – it all reminded me that anything is possible when you stay consistent and keep showing up.

Final Thoughts

This week in New York with Gymshark was a dream – but also a reminder of how far I’ve come. From working out in my garage to lifting on a global stage, it’s been a wild ride.

To those of you following along – THANK YOU. For every like, comment, DM, and share. For cheering me on and being part of this journey. I hope this vlog gives you a glimpse into the hustle, the joy, and the love that powers it all.

Until next time… stay strong, lift heavy, and never stop chasing your goals.

Much love,
